Selda

Selda is a Cross-Ley, a hybrid of a human and an artificial human called a Leyaloid. Like her Leyaloid mother, Selda has a connection to a Harmonic Server, Gena Fyu. This allows her to use song magics (Queries) that require a Server registration (songs for manipulating devices, accessing information/areas, and adjusting the environment in certain areas, for example). Unlike a pure Leyaloid, her mind isn't completely hosted on a Harmonic Server, so she can make use of Pact Magic, which involves synchronizing with a creature called a Paction. Her floating red companion, Pippin, is only one type of these creatures. Since she can use both Queries and Pact Magic, she's more versatile than a pure Leyaloid.

Personality-wise, she has an odd juxtaposition of pragmatism and flights of fancy. While most of the time, she keeps a realistic outlook and focuses on what's in front of her, she has occasional moments where she'll take up quests or hobbies without thinking them through. (This is how she picked up her doll customization hobby, though other adventures haven't ended quite so well.) She has a good relationship with Pippin, though the two like to banter and tease each other at times.
