Marcell is a jolly, goofy, all-around warm-hearted dude with an innate and unconscious knack for making others like him. He also sleeps more than he probably should. That is to say... he catches naps whenever he thinks he can get away with it. The only thing he loves MORE than napping is cooking, which is why he's taken it upon himself to make sure everyone in the Gang (and all who attend their shows or travel alongside them) is stuffed to the gills with their favorite foods! If Noodles is the Gang's mom, Marcell is the Gang's dad. He's always willing to lend a sympathetic ear or a helping hand. Just don't go looking for him when it's time to do the dishes - THAT'S a chore he's perfectly content to leave to others! He nearly always manages to make himself scarce come dish-time, only reappearing (conveniently) when the last pot's been scoured.

Collecting and trying out new reipies is his pet project. Every time he sets foot in a new town, the first thing Marcell does is make a tour of the local eateries, hoping to find something new. The second place he goes is the market - looking for ingredients. This rule applies regardless of weather the town is Pokemon or Human. Thanks to his very human-like appearance and his self-taught English-speaking abilities (he also reads, because cook books), Marcell is often able to pass for human with the aid of a simple disguise.

Keep him AWAY from the cooking sherry!
