TW: Cheating/Infidelity, Neglect Mention

Starkit was the result of an affair, Pollenhaze had fallen out of love with their previous mate and instead of breaking things off, took another mate in Hemlocktail, an old sweetheart from their young warrior days. The thing was, however, Pollenhaze's first mate, Cloudprancer, was told they would work things out just a couple of moons before the affair became public. Heartbroken Cloudprancer left the clans, and Star's half-sibling, Skywatcher behind. Star was loved by both vois parents as a child, given everything, yet they always seemed so interested in their elder sibling, despite Skywatcher being mostly ignored save for Hemlocktail trying to be a parent to the cat. This resulted in Star following Skywatcher out of camp one day and when trying to impress Skywatcher by helping them catch a rabbit, ended up getting kicked and shattering their leg which only made Pollenhaze more resentful of Skywatcher.

As it turned out, it seemed Pollen only liked raising kits... Not so much older cats and they ended up pulling away from Star as well, Hemlock at this point realized his mistake but was too afraid to lose his mate so he stuck with Pollen regardless. At this point in life Star was showing off to be a tried and true weird kid, their odd mannerisms often getting them bullied. This brought them close to their one real friend, Dragonpaw, another weird kid who the other apprentices picked on. The two shared similar ways of interaction and bonding and the two became quite close as a result.

Warriorhood brought mess with it once again. Pollen and Hemlock are seemingly on each other's wit's end and debating trying to have another litter to fix things. Their messy family would be their only focus if not for what was going on in their friend's life. Cicadasun was suffering and because no one else stepped in, Dragonstone--no Dragonrise was suffering too. Although they didn't show it, Starweaver was greatly distressed by their friend's situation and tried to approach to help, but got rebuffed and only drifted further and further apart. Starweaver misses Dragonsun greatly, they just don't know how to get him to breathe so they can talk again.
