Otto Gearloose's Links
Cocky is the biggest chaotic mess walking around with leather pants and a collar full of feathers.
...And I love him so.
Otto is my sinammon roll and I always feel I can be myself around him!
He's my... grandpa. I still find it a little hard to believe that I could run into one of my relatives.
He's a grouch and loves complaining, but he doesn't really do anything against me when I want to clean the house or buy vegetables at the local market. He also lets me build stuff around the house; so far I've made a small greenhouse and a kotatsu, they're gonna be helpful for when the cold months roll in.
Aside from the usual grouchiness and... sass, we work well together. I guess mechanics runs in the family.
(...I'm glad we get along.)
It's been years since I even remembered I had a grand kid...
I'm so used to being on my own now that I didn't think I'd need
anybody...Sure I get customers now and then but...Then the kid
fell into my lap somehow and...I can't imagine my home without
him....
I... should've expected it, but knowing I had a grandmother still came as a bit of a shock to me. When I asked my grandpa about her, I knew I had to meet her just by the way alone he talked about her. He warned me it could be an awkward meeting, and it was, but still... I don't regret it.
She took to me almost instantly, I was scared she wouldn't like me... but she does, a lot, from what grandpa told me. She's teaching me a lot of things, too, even though we don't share the same interests.
(I'm happy that we're living together now.)
...I really thought I'd never see him again. He was just... months old when Claire left... I've almost forgotten how much he looked like her...
I never expected to go to our house and find my ex-husband and our grandson all grown up... but he's here now, and has been a part of the family I know we've all been missing.
He's a good kid, and very smart... I'm happy we get another chance to be together.
There was a time I visited Earth. I don't exactly remember why I did it but I was running low on bits- or 'money' as they call it. I met Miss Match by pure chance and she asked me to model some of her clothes.
I'm not a fan of the camera... but I needed some funds, and she seemed like a good person, so I went along. It wasn't terrible... but I don't think I want to pursue modeling.
He helped me model some of my first designs for my own fashion line! He was quite reluctant at first, but he still went with it and I'm super thankful for it!
Otto became quite popular, too! But luckily he left Earth before other agencies tried hiring him for more photo sessions- I could tell he wasn't going to be a fan of those!
Spoopie is my best friend and the only company I had for years before I ran into my grandparents. He's friendly, I promise, and he knows plenty of tricks.
*Excited spider chitter! He's immediately excited just by hearing the name 'Otto'!*
