Nami is a fairly aloof and easily distracted yume! Once breaking through that seemingly cool exterior a yume that Nami considers a friend can hold their attention pretty well, as Nami cares about their friends quite a lot. Nami throughly enjoys naps as well, and if they're late to delivering a nightmare they've likely overslept or accidentally fallen asleep somewhere.
Nami is mischievous at heart and likes spooking humans and other yume quite a bit, but they never do anything harmful. The nightmares they deliver often have sudden scares, loud sounds, or they are generally so ominous that it leaves the unfortunate human paranoid for a while after waking. Nami takes pride in their nightmares.

Some yumes may think that Nami is cool and mysterious with how they always linger in the background looking like they don't care, but the truth is far from that. Nami, as calm as they are, is just easily distracted by the things around them! Once a yume brings Nami into the conversation they are in fact able to hold the aloof yume's attention.
If a yume presists long enough to become friends with Nami they suddenly have a mischievous yume who always has their back! Nami loves pranks and love to pull pranks with and on their friends. They know how far is too far though, so no yume ever has to worry that Nami is going to cause any harm. As fun as other yume are to prank, Nami likes pranking unsuspecting humans the most. Due to this Halloween is their favorite holiday, as they can go all out on humans and yume alike!
Speaking of humans, Nami takes a lot of pride in the nightmares they take to humans. The nightmares they bring contain either sudden scares or ominous warnings. The nightmares with the sudden scares are often unsuspecting dreams to start with before suddenly becoming scary most often with a jumpscare of some kind, mostly made up of the humans fears. The nightmares with ominous warnings are ones that leave the humans afraid and paranoid for a bit even after they've woken up. Some humans take these nightmares as prophetic dreams of a future, but they have no real basis aside from whatever that human fears.
When not pranking others, being with friends, or delivering nightmares you can find Nami either napping somewhere around the cove, or seeking out new places to go star gazing. Nami loves sleeping, and has been late to take nightmares due to taking a nap somewhere. They also adore the night sky, and on a clear night you can almost certainly find Nami in a field looking up at the sky.
Due to Nami's easily distracted nature they really don't like anybody being impatient with them, and they really don't like when others try to get their attention using a startling noise of some kind. They also don't like when yumes are rude for no reason. Nami doesn't tolerate rudeness, especially when it's directed towards their friends as they care a lot about their friends.
