Calirod

Created for the purposes of medical care and transport, Calirod is speedy with both his words and on his feet! He's stronger than he appears, and is often seen zipping down halls and across medical bays on those fancy schmancy wheels, making sure everyone and everything is in their proper place. A real stickler for tidiness, he's quite personable and like to make sure his relationships are orderly as well. His jokes often fall flat, but he's still the very sweet and caring type that can't help but have a little bit of a flair for the dramatic sometimes.

Armored with a soft-to-the-touch purple plating, Calirod is very robotic in his apperance, with a colorful screen for a face that is capable of display nay variety of images, faces, symbols and more. Most often, it is a simple set of eyes and brows, slowly shifting in color. Over where a human's heart would be, is a similar screen that displays stats and readings, and defaults to a beating heart. His cat-like hands are padded, and his feet are equipped with smooth wheels much like a rollerskate. His tail ends with a blunt arrow. Beneath all this plating, is a much soft material that is firm and jelly-like, akin to a stressball! All of his internal wiring, joints and lighting is housed inside this thermal jello, seen by very few.

His mop of hair is fitted with fiber optics, shining light throughout. His causal clothes are loose-fitting y2k fare, but he is most often seen in his Federation colors, a white labcoat and holding a clipboard covered in stickers. Not the most fashionable guy in the world, but sometimes delight in more tradtional nurse get-up.

Cal is jovial when working, a pleasant sight to see and a good conversation holder. He's not too serious, and will happily crack jokes as he takes your vitals to make sure that you're at ease. Under the surface, he runs a little more nervously, sometimes a bit overly anxious about what his patients may truly think of him. While his social aspects are high-strung, he genuinely is very confident in his abilities and knows very well what to do in tense medical situations!

Though he's an android, he studied medical sciences just as any officer, and has full certification in his own right. Though usually acting as a lower medical officer, he is fully capable of most tasks that are not complicated surgeries. Considering his robotic body, he is happy to handle patients that are contagious or otherwise a bit dangerous. His goofier attitude is useful in keeping many calm, and this carries him both in and out of the examination room. A silly character that's got a big personality, lots of opinions and a sense of drama that's a lot larger than he is.

• Wheels can be removed for maintenance, storage or convenience. Likes to switch them out for new colors sometimes.
• Chassis can be removed, but it's like being naked and he'd really rather keep it on.
• Admittedly likes the aesthetic of silly Halloween nurses. Wouldn't be caught dead wearing those funny dresses though, of course...probably. Maybe. For a price.
• Stress can cause him to glitch, and overuse of his screen will cause it to blow and need to be replaced. He can still see, but things are dim and dark.
• Longs to go on more surface missions than he's usually allowed to go on.

Flicker - Can't help but heave a big, dreamy sigh whenever he walks by. Big, brave, handsome...what's not to love about him? Flicker serves his post well and will a great deal of courageousness, which lands him in the infirmary quite a lot. Cal's playful annoyance at his frequent visits turned into plans beyond work, which turned into a close romance.

Memento - His boss, quiet but well-spoken. He fears that they may find him overbearing and antsy at times, but they respect one another deeply and could not operate as smoothly as they do without the other. Always at his side when he's working, and Cal suspects that despite being able to read him like he reads others, they like the peace of mind his body and skill bring.

Dynastes - The primary surgeon of the Atta, and one he has attended to many times. Trained in surgery assistance, he is very good at keeping track of tools, handing her what she needs and making sure things are kept sterile when a special touch is needed. Respects her incredible skill and is fascinated by her history - thus, could listen to her tell stories for hours.

Axis - A sweet and nervous android that he sees often passing by. Her ability to comfort and calm others is nearly unmatched, and he himself has gone to her many times. Appreciates her stories too, and loves to sit and find beauty in the small things together.
