Briar’berries story is something most cats never would wish for or even dream of… Born only to be thrown out at 3 moons by her own mother briar had at least been put in a secure area from predators or opposing cats, most likely born as a runt or just unwanted briar never had warm fur to touch or even a full belly a kit would have by now, fortunately being born in leaffall made it easier to hide her scent and gather prey easily about a few moons into leafbare briar knew she couldn’t possibly live on her own in the winter especially if the area was low in food storage she could be anyone's filling meal, and had to find a clan with open arms the nearest area was ravenclan as mountainclan was more higher and colder to get to, as soon as she got to the clans territory her kit body couldn’t handle the cold winter air collapsing her to the ground.

The first cats to find her was a patrol run by the leader Ladybugstar; he deeply had a soft spot for kits and took her in and gave her to pnthereyes as a mother. It she already knew how to eat solid prey and even hunt making most kits jealous of her sudden talents, other cats of the clan were cautious of the kit and even disliked her thinking that she came from a opposing clan as a trap making her apprenticeship more difficult .

Back to the near present her current look and how others saw her changed completely At the start of apprenticeship, being mentored by the leader due to the others not successfully trusting her yet briar’paw felt like the odd one out and trained harder than any other apprentice in order to prove them wrong and it worked with her already knowing most techniques of course most things ladybugstar tried teaching her she knew giving them more time to train for bigger things, he taught her skills he never even taught his clan which caught ivy’paw briar’berries adoptive brother’s attention, ivypaw tried to get the attention of other cats to let them know of the two’s wrongdoing which only resulted in backlash making him leave the clan to find more loyal cats. This made Briarpaw feel as if she threw him under the bus; they had several good times together and had a great relationship; what she didn;t know was that he was planning a war between both the clans.

Once the battle started briar’paw had a chance to show the clans she was worthy of her trust, being so small in all made her even more dependable for this fight, she met ivypaw in once again a few minutes later she knew she shouldn’t hurt him but had to do what she could for the clan sacrificing her relationship with her brother in other to do it deeply scaring him both mentally and physically, bigger opponents were much easier to fight and she manage to deeply injure pheasant’stalk one of the clans stronger warriors, unfortunately for her, warriors from the other clan managed to rip off on of her front arms making her incapable to fight back the battle stopped when she got rid of one of the last warriors around.

She was promoted to a warrior early because of her confidence to fight majority of the opposing clan cats and earning the name briar’berry and apprenticed longtail and later became deputy once she trained her second apprentice corpse’paw.
