Eduardo was never all too bright or all too fortunate to be promised anything good in life. Still, he was always a man with stubborn will and a smile that could overcome all hardships.
His family didn’t come from wealth, so many doors were closed from the beginning. That didn’t matter to him, because ever since he was a child he wanted to be a knight! All the training required for it was widely available to everyone! To boot, his best friend, George, shared his passion and they had promised to become knights together, enlisting in the trainee program as early as possible.
So when the opportunity arose for Georgie to upgrade in becoming a Royal Guard, Ed could feel nothing but pure excitement for the two’s future. He impulsively sent in a request just so he wouldn’t lose seeing his best friend in “school”. When he was accepted, much to the shock of George’s girlfriend Krystal, he couldn’t be any happier.
It turned out they would be training alongside noblemen’s children, especially those from the Lemongard and Meadowspark families; Ed was brimming with anticipation! Georgie and he even got to meet the head executioner of the kingdom, Cailan Meadowspark. And what a fighter he was! Eddie was sure he could beat him in a duel, but George always brushed him aside… said to leave a good impression. Cailan joined their little friend club and they were all buddies for two unforgettable years! Until it happened.
No one had ever considered there would be a day where a Meadowspark would turn a traitor. Yet that day had come, and he had slaughtered tens of soldiers trying to stop him. Eduardo had seen all of it. He thought killing two kids instead of their dad was weird and it seemed that Cailan felt the same, which is why he refused to execute them. Out of fear for the now-traitor, he fled to inform George and his family of the event.
The state were gathering forces for a search party and Eduardo couldn’t pass up the chance. He joined the group and awaited for the moment he could see him again… say goodbye… but that moment never came. Eventually he was seen moving north, but Ed had a duty and stayed in the capital. That duty was Georgie, his wife and his children… and two new children… the ones Cailan rescued?? So he was here once before…
A shame Ed had missed him. But no matter, the kids take priority now!
"Let's hit the pub, that sparring session took A LOT outta me, hahah!"

- He usually wears cropped and loose clothing in pink and green hues. He loves heart shaped crops!
- His outfit out of work is a pink button shirt with heart-shaped crops on the short sleeves. They are tied together with dark pink ribbons. He also wears baggy dark pink pants hoisted to his waist with a dark green belt; he matches it with dark green shoes.

- He’s stronger than George but not as bright. Labrador vibes.
- He has miraculous luck, having been able to enlist as a palace knight and on Cailan’s search team despite not being the best knight out there.
- His parents have since passed away and he is an only child... so his family is comprised of George, Krystal, and their two kids! He's considered the fun uncle!
- He was originally from a different universe (Kingdom AU 2) but was repurposed for Ahanaria since he was always a palace knight. He was always George’s best friend but he was a little bit more annoying than he is now.
- I'm not supposed to have favourites but in the beginning... Ed was my favourite out of him and George.
Georgie
[ best friend ] Ed would be brought to tears if he learned he and Georgie would have to separate. They’ve been best buddies since forever and he finds his friendship invaluable. The two of them talk during work, Eddie visits the wife and kiddies… oh he loves the kids with all his heart. He’s more than happy to be part of Georgie’s family, he's ecstatic! His beer buddy will be there for him whenever...
Krystal
[ Georgie’s wife ] He was surprised when he heard Georgie and Krystal had promised each other in marriage! Krystal? With him? He’d never seen it coming (although it was very obvious)! Eduardo likes her but can’t seem to hold many conversations with her. It’s almost as if she’s sort of avoiding him. She’s a busy mum, she must have many things to do!
Cailan
[ friend ] Cailan is the first noble Ed and George ever got to meet during their training. Never smiled much, didn’t have much to say either, but he was rumoured to be formiddable. Eddie tried his hand at duelling him and- Phew! He’s glad they’re not enemies!! As time went on, he finally started opening up, telling Ed and Georgie all sorts of things. It was sad they had to see him leave so soon…
