Profile

  • Action Survivor: Charmeine survives Dandelion's killing game due to sheer luck- she isn't a fighter.
  • Animal-Themed Super-Being: Charmeine used to be a dove, and has a pair of giant wings as testament to this.
  • Anti Villain: Charmeine's goal is to 'clean up' the Land of Magic, however she goes about this by making herself judge, jury & executioner, and endangers innocents in the process.
  • Be Careful What You Wish For: Charmeine always wanted to be braver and to have more to herself than just her wings. Well, she's certainly got more to her name now. Whether or not that's a good thing, however...
  • Because You Were Nice To Me: Charmeine is utterly willing to do whatever it takes to 'avenge' Lucky and Hechi.
  • Beneath the Mask: After Dandelion's killing game, Charmeine seems cold and apathetic, but despite having willingly put herself in a dangerous situation this time, she's still just as anxious and fearful as she's ever been.
  • Berserk Button: The thought of innocents being hurt, especially in killing games. Best not to bring up that that's exactly what she's doing.
  • Beware the Quiet Ones: Charmeine doesn't speak much, but after Dandelion's game this won't stop her from arranging her death if she dislikes you.
  • Black and White Morality: Charmeine can't rationalise a good person doing a bad thing, a bad person doing a good thing, or any other type of grey morality. As far as she's concerned, you're a hero or you're a villain.
  • Break the Cutie: The entirety of Dandelion's killing game.
  • Commonality Connection: With Hechi, Lucky and Eris.
  • Cursed With Awesome: Charmeine never wanted to be a magical girl, much preferring her previous, simple life.
  • Dark and Troubled Past: Surviving a killing game would probably count there.
  • Death Seeker: Despite having started the story desperate to stay alive, Charmeine doesn't seem too concerned for her own safety anymore.
  • Desperately Craves Affection: Part of why she became so attached to Lucky and Hechi so quickly.
  • Determinator: Nothing will get in her way when it comes to 'avenging' Lucky and Hechi. Not even her still-living friends.
  • Evil Former Friend: Is this for Cutie Gold and Spectral Blues.
  • Extreme Doormat: Initially. She's trusted with passing on confidential messages because it's known that she'd be too anxious to ever read them, and the only reason she attended Dandelion's experiment was out of fear of upsetting someone by not turning up.
  • Fire-Forged Friends: With Eris, for better or for worse.
  • Fragile Flower: Charmeine is an extremely anxious individual.
  • Friendless Background: Before Dandelion's killing game, Charmeine wasn't particularly close with anyone due to her anxiety.
  • Fugitive Arc: After starting her own killing game, Charmeine becomes the Land of Magic's most wanted. Who knew they'd disagree with indiscriminate murder!
  • Gaining the Will to Kill: In Dandelion's killing game, Charmeine refused to kill anyone. Flash forwards a few months, and she's ready to set up her own killing game.
  • Guilt Complex: Charmeine's primary motivator is her guilt from being unable to save Lucky and Hechi.
  • Hypocrite: Charmeine hates killing games, and wants to put an end to them... by making a killing game. She doesn't seem to be aware of her own blatant hypocrisy.
  • It's All My Fault: Charmeine blames herself and her cowardice for Lucky and Hechi's deaths.
  • Misery Builds Character: Played with. Charmeine certainly gets more than her fair share of misery, but it doesn't build much except for a warped world-view.
  • No Social Skills: ...Yeah.
  • OOC is Serious Business: Charmeine tends to be a doormat who would apologise if you spilt soup in her lap, but if you manage to genuinely anger her then it isn't recommended you stay around to see the outcome.
  • Shrinking Violet: Charmeine hates being the centre of attention- her magical skill is even to turn invisible. Even after her heel-face turn, this doesn't particularly change.
  • Shy Blue-Haired Girl: ...Yeah.
  • Survivor Guilt: Being one of four survivors of a death game can do that to you.
