Backstory: Born to a warden mother, from a human father who he never met, he was raised in the ancient city until the age of fourteen, when a human descended into the ruins, and fought his warden mother. Despite her strength, she fell to their blade, and Nick watched in terror. The human left Nick alive, thankfully, due to his human appearance, and passive nature. From that day onwards, Nick vowed to slay every human who ever stepped foot in the city, and avenge his mother.
