You remember your teachers telling you anything you post online is out there forever? Well, if you actually listened to them, you shouldn't have to worry. Everyone else? Data is absolutely your worst nightmare.
Often whispered about but never seen, Data_Expunged is big, nasty, and as cruel as a devil can be. A man who'd love to drag up all your old dirty laundry and flaunt it about like it was nothing, as long as he can hook himself up to it, Data has access to near any database out there. All those fun facts and deleted posts and weird site histories to note down at his leisure.
Of course, he's always down for a trade, if you can get a hold of him. Might even be able to wipe somethin' right off the web for you. Permanently. For the right price.
Mind you, he keeps to himself in most cases, in the dimmest parts of the web. He's a busy bee after all. No one can say for certain why he goes after who he does. Best guess is you were caught looking around somewhere you don't belong. Just try to keep your nose clean and think before you post, is all. May just save your life.

Biology
• Skin: Several separate ‘rings’ of thick skin, more akin to a tanned hide than human flesh in feeling. Fur sprouts from the skin in heavy clumps. Each ring can be freely lifted up to reveal the devil’s innards. Structure has be compared to that of a... pine tree.
• Internal Structure: A miasma of thick cable and wire, along with shards of installation discs, scrap metal, and bits of plastic casing. Cables are all wrapped around an unseen metal ‘spine’ and connect directly to the brain.
• Vascular/Nervous system: Thin black wiring runs inside the limbs and beneath the thicker cables as a sort of last line of defense. These wires power the devil, an assumedly self-made android, in some sense.
• The devil comes equipped with two sharp claws, claws capable of discharging up to 12.5 milliamps of electricity. This is used either to immobilize threats or jumpstart electronics.
• The tubing and wires can be pulled (but not detached) from under the devil’s fur, and connected to near any computer, modern or otherwise. There is a wire or cable for every port or outlet. With this, the devil is able to comb through not only whatever device its connected to, but the vast majority of the internet at large.
Influence
• The devil is able to collect copious amounts of information with its connections to the web, capable of finding even deleted posts, accounts, internet histories, downloads, and so forth. The devil uses the information its collected to blackmail and torment its victims, holding dirty secrets and threats of leaking personal information over their heads to get what it desires.
• Notably, the devil also seems capable of altering or wiping information permanently off the net, and word has spread it may be willing to do so for a ‘small fee’.
• Also notably, most of its victims are people with histories on, to quote; ‘distasteful forums and communities. People who really have to dig to find what they’re looking for, if you get what I mean. People who look in places they shouldn’t.’ For this reason, it is not a devil that strikes often. Rarely at all, in fact. It merely lies in wait.
• The devil always ends its harassment by choosing to physically confront its victims. Confrontation lasts over a short series of days. In every case, this is to take the victims home for itself, to create a new lair, or ‘hive’, of wire and computer. It is unknown what happens to victims (or unrelated occupants, for that matter) once the devil finally enters their homes. Bodies have been found in previous, abandoned hives, in varying states of partial preservation and skin turned to near leather.

Night♞Call
Observed rivals since Data_Expunged's birth. With similar methods for soul stealing, the two likely clash over what they feel is overstepping boundaries. In particular, Data_Expunged appears to enjoy the rivalry quite a bit more than Night♞Call.
angel♤fire
angel♤fire shows animosity towards Data_Expunged like she does most other devils. Data_Expunged appears to humor her for the most part, but has made well-backed threats from time to time to keep her in line. angel♤fire does not appear to downplay the devil's threats, but pursues a rivalry nonetheless.
