Character

He isn't the first person anyone would think of when it comes to asking for assistance. Darabont is only out for himself and his material pleasures. Selfish, stubborn and moderate-to-severely egotistical. There isn't much that he would do for another individual unless he benefited from it, as well. Despite the amount of back-talk he might relay, Darabont does not have a short temper. The most attitude he would give is a mild dose of sarcasm. Of course, earning his trust might just land you into his non-existent group of 'friends', but in his eyes, he's still number one. Either follow his lead, or get out of the way.

Backstory

Used by his father's own selfish desire to demand loyalty from creatures within their nation for years, Darabont had finally mustered the courage to raise a giant middle finger to him. Rebelling against his progenitor caused a lowkey turf war between the two that extended to other reaches of the country.

Together with his lightning powers and Cryo's titanic hurricane-like abilities, they could make a storm to be feared, gain respect and rule as a malevolent monarch... without Darabont, of course. Naturally, he wasn't too keen on the idea and turned tail before he could have the chance. Cryo flew into a fit and threatened to eradicate any other storm dragons there might be 'till Darabont cooperated. Thing is... why would Darabont care about the lives of others? Honestly, he just didn't want Cryo to succeed in his ridiculous power-trip. As a result, at the same time as Cryo's bloodshed, Darabont had begun eliminating storm dragons, as well. Inevitably... in the end, Darabont wound up as the last, remaining one; slamming a huge crisis down on the land as a whole. Without the storm, there is no rain.

Shunning responsibility, Darabont escaped for a time into the forbidden human realm where he stumbled upon their weapons of destruction. Ammunition and guns galore. Dragons of his world did not have this sort of advanced technology, and as he broke into the military base (nearest to his arrival point), found himself a new obsession. These weapons were powerful, loud, and caused a lot of blood and guts! Darabont approved. Toying with his new toys, he returned to his home realm to show off his newly aquired treasures. 'Oohs' and 'Ahhs' were not the first thing Darabont was greeted with. It was fear and disgust. Not only did he break the law by entering a forsaken land, but he brought back a foreign weapon with him. Really, he couldn't really give two fucks about whether they hated him or were fearful of him; opinions didn't matter. Now, he was the cause for such alarm and terror. In a way, it felt nice. In a way... he really is just Cryo's son in the end.

Notes

• Enchanted bone bracers on both legs are cursed and unable to be removed.
• Darabont is obsessed with arms and ammunition. He prefers using guns over natural abiltiies.
• He is very crude, rude and blunt. He'll joke, flirt and make risque jokes.
• His hair is very spiky, without the use of gel. It feels coarse and rough.
• Teeth are jagged and shaped like a shark's.

Relationships

Krathelon [ ally ]

A friend, or just someone to bully for the fun of it? Darabont likes to keep Krathelon around, only so he can force him to be his packmule. He feels little sympathy for the smaller creature and uses him for his own benefit.

Cryo [ father ]

The bond between them had been broken many years ago when Cryo made an attempt to take advantage of Darabont's strength. Might Darabont ever be strong enough, he would not hesitate to put an end to Cryo's reign.

Zircon [ half-brother ]

Neither of them are actually aware of the fact that they're related. Gaining this knowledge might not bode well for those involved.

Pyro [ half-brother ]

Loyal only to Cryo, Darabont wants nothing to do with his other half-brother. Although, a small part of him wishes that that wasn't the case. They might have made great allies.
