Psyche is an average plushie grifflie- or so he seems. 

Psyche is actually a terrible schizophrenic, and will very often see and hear things that aren't there. He's also terribly shy and has lots of anxiety when going out in public, hence his hood. He relies on Icarus to do a lot of things for him, such as interaction and whatnot. Icarus acts somewhat like a mother figure to Psyche, as she takes care of him when Redwood is out.

He also wears his hood because he's terribly ashamed of his markings and colors. Almost every person he's met has told him that he looks like an "eyeburn," or that looking at him causes headaches and eye sores. They're not wrong of course- Psyche's colors are very bright and stand out quite well compared to most things. It just causes him great self consciousness.

Although he cannot feel pain, when alone or when going into sensory overload, he will often break down, and from his perspective, start melting and glitching out. 

He used to be in a relationship, but his partner didn't treat him well. He now wants nothing to do with love or romance.
