"I have a theory to propose."

Presently, Rvul lives in an abandoned tower with Damian, and more recently, Amber. He takes care of Damian by bringing him medicine and herbs, as he is frail and often falls ill. The three frequently go on long treks into the northern forest to recover various ancient texts in an attempt to piece together forgotten history. As travelers, they don't stay in one place for too long and tend to camp out on their journeys.

However, they always eventually return to their home in the South. They visit Max and Bailey at Max's bookstore, Black Cat Books, to decipher and further study their findings. Rvul provides his dreams and memories as contribution to each case.

Damian found Rvul and took him under his wing (teehee) when he was still a very young chick. Rvul had found an old scarf and Damian found an old blanket, to which they swapped with each other's as a symbolic pact of their trust. For a few years, they both lived in the North, with Rvul under his care.

Later, when they met Max, they were convinced to leave with him to live in the southern forest. They originally lived with Max, but eventually split once they found a suitable home and were able to sustain themselves as explorers.

Damian acts as an older brother to Rvul. The two are very close, and they feel as though they are always in sync. They hardly keep secrets from each other, and understand the other very well. Damian is always there to support him and look out for him, while also making sure Rvul gets a voice. Rvul always has been a reliable, caring, and loyal best friend and brother for him. However, sometimes he feels that Damian is too overprotective and worried over his safety.

Although their relationship got off on a questionable and rocky start, their time together has made them gradually grow fond of each other. Rvul finds her energy and mayhem fun and exciting, while Amber enjoys his presence as listener and partner-in-crime. He also likes her historical knowledge and thinks she is much smarter and deeper than people give her credit for. Rvul was Amber's first friend (besides her mom!) and was the first to care and pay attention to her.

Despite knowing each other for so long, Rvul and Max aren't as particularly emotionally close as either of them are to Damian. Since they are both slightly reclusive, they usually need Damian to initiate conversations or get-togethers. However, they both respect the other greatly and can get along through the insight they share. Sometimes though, Rvul sees Max's stoic demeanor drop around others and finds his emotional outbreaks to be amusing or immature. Max can feel his judgement. He's a little intimidated by Rvul (despite being older).

At first, Bailey pushed a little too hard to be Rvul's friend, which made him skeptical of them. Later though, after she drops the act, he finds her to be very smart and sweet. He thinks her thoughts and tidbits of trivia are fascinating, while Bailey feels Rvul is easy to be around and talk to. However, his lingering suspicions never really went away...
