Ruffian (Angemo AU)'s Links
Quite frankly, Harrison is a polarizing figure. He always somehow finds a way to get into other's business. He contradicts the fact that all Heavenly wants to do is be a guardian, and stands opposed to it extremely, but he also isn't willing to fall as it would mean he'd essentially be a different person! I can't help but feel that while Harrison would agree with some of the opinions I hold of the Peak and the horrendous system we have around here, he'd also stand against the very idea of simply every single one of our kind just for the simple reason that "We still have a purpose to fulfill, right?"! He is quite exhausting to deal with. Well, at least he isn't as horrible as that one heavenly I see around, the one with the rapier, that is. Harrison seems to dislike him very much so, I can see why... although it's probably for a different reason than mine happens to be.
I'm unsure what happens inside of "Encre Dread," or should I say Ruffian's mind. He keeps quiet to himself most of the time... now this isn't the first time I've met someone almost like him, name and all, just that... he wasn't this extreme about certain topics. I'm unsure of how to feel about him just yet, I'm sure I'll figure out how I SHOULD feel someday. Maybe tomorrow? He is interesting, he just doesn't seem to ever like my presence, granted, I don't think many people do. I've heard him say I'm exhausting to another Angemo... I wonder. He also seems to dislike Kieryn, although it's likely not as much as I do as he has expressed. Nevertheless, his poetry is interesting, what a way to get your thoughts out without a single person thinking it was you. Never thought of it.
Kieryn is abhorrent. Who would continue to uphold a system like this? If I were him, I'd just throw it all away, granted, I never really got that chance, but you'd get the deal, right? Most angemos, particularly heavenly, tend to either not perceive him or just respect his position. As for Fallens, I'd say they'd frankly either be afraid or hateful towards him, rightfully so I'd say... but it seems there is this specific Fallen he berates and mocks on the daily. Maybe that's the reason why Harrison doesn't like him! I just simply hate what he stands for, does he stand for it truly? or is it just to seem better than everyone to be the model guardian he always wanted to be? There are too many possibilities for my good haha. I guess my point is that Kieryn isn't someone I'd rather ever speak to, as I hate what he stands for, and the kind of system that he'll continue to support.
Hmph. I do not know this Angemo personally but, other than being a Fallen, I know that his views on the Peak are quite... radical and unsavoury. Frankly, I doubt he understands the importance and the weight of the jobs at the Peak have. It is an honour to be serving the peak. I suppose someone like him wouldn't know anything of honour or loyalty.
(You could be imagining it, but perhaps Kieryn's voice was shaking as he said the last few remarks)
I stand in the belief that those who benefit from this system are no good. While I can pity Sarathiel's condition, it doesn't change my honest opinion towards her. He is no good, just like any other guardian, relying on the fact that as long as you do your job, you'll be perfectly fine! This system simply favors those who fit in, and Sarathiel fits right in. Is this her intention? I assume so, based on how I've seen him behave. While I do wish her the best in future endeavors, I also simply cannot wait for the downfall that he might see in the future. Even some of the most "perfect" individuals have sort of some staggering flaw, no?
I don't need the pity of some secluded artist who chooses to waste his days awaiting an end that, truthfully, will never come. Maybe he should spend some of that misplaced sympathy on his own pathetic life. It's truly unfortunate how he failed the Peak, but he is just another tainted soul born of sin. I would pity him, but his prayers for the ruin of others are rather ill-mannered, so perhaps he deserves to rot alone in his doomsday bunker.
Myself and Melhem share the belief that the peak is truly corrupt. It's a no-good place where those who don't fit the norm are destined to suffer. While I do not share the same experience that he has had, I feel that we do get along at least when it comes to the corrupt nature a place like this is. A system that will punish you if you don't fit the mold. I do feel like it has a different idea of how things should be dealt with, however. While I do believe that fate will simply crumble on The Peak, it seems that their idea is to target other's mortals, which I can see working if I'm going to be completely honest. Nevertheless, we have shared views, so let us keep it at that.
It's a nice change of pace to find some who shares my views without trying to force themselves down my throat. I'm interested in how others come to recognize the Peak's corruption without themselves being victims; I myself was a pawn in their sick game until they took my wings and labelled me a sinner. Although, his support doesn't mean much if all he does is sit idly by as angemos are damned and tortured everyday. Why not take a more active role in the Peak's destruction?
Ah yes, an abnormality. Some are seen as more destructive than others, and then there are individuals like him, who simply seem to have bad things happen to them. I'm unsure exactly what warrants such occurrences, it all seems like a screenplay or a cartoon episode... feels like I'm in a long-running gag show as a side character. Ahem, that aside, he doesn't seem to be of any sort of problem per se, just simply trying to live based on what I've seen. Now, I haven't seen abnormalities all that often, but that can be attributed to the fact I don't tend to go outside and would prefer to write about the inevitable end for the peak. Can't help but wonder truly if there is any rhyme or reason to what ACTUALLY happens to him. It seems to all be out of his control, which I'm sure he feels as well at times. Does he care that he has what one would call "awful luck"? I guess not. I'm not sure, I've never spoken to him before.
For a recluse, I find it interesting that despite never meeting, this guy knows about me. I've personally only seen him once, but he seems to have some knowledge about myself which I find unnerving. I can't say I have an opinion of him... his poetry is nice... to some out there... I personally see it as why choose to be all doom and gloom when you can find the light at the end of the tunnel? Just my take...
Tick tock. Tick tock. The clock ticks as time goes on~. Those who play into this cycle that this wretched place is among are no better than those in power. I guess he is fine if you ignore it, but I can't help but feel he doesn't see the issues that are apparent with this system. How can you be so ignorant of such, and go on? I guess many would say there aren't any issues, while others would just not be aware of such. Hanzō falls under the latter, but at least he isn't like that one guy... He seems to care little about whether or not someone is fallen, and seems so content with such work that I can't entirely put him at fault. I do still dislike his presence though, not that he would know anyway.
“Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, no matter how unsavory another individual may perceive it to be..” Hanzō is a bit confused on how many angemos he’s acquainted with that don’t like the system their kind has been built on. However, while he doesn’t wish to be overbearing with his own values, he believes that everyone has the right to criticize what they please, Ruffian is no different. At the end of the day, Hanzō gets to watch over his mortal, and Ruffian can continue writing his poetry.
I’m gonna explode this man. (More to be written but it is funnier if kept like this)
This one I love to pester on their rare outings~ I enjoy the fact that I am able to make my presence completely unknown but for him I don't feel it necessary~ He is quite open with his distaste of this species alike~ He has issues with how it's run and believes and preaches under the guise of anonymity for the downfall of this society if change isn't done and in that aspect we have similar mindsets~ I too believe a change is necessary for the survival of this currently wretched place but I wholly doubt he knows nor cares if we have the same ideals it's quite fun~~ I'll continue to pester him on his outings openly and flamboyant as ever!~~
Falke is quite an interesting individual truly. On the surface level, he is someone who one would assume I'd dislike, given his standing in the peak... but honestly? We're much more similar than people might believe. Now, did I see something that I possibly should not have... maybe, but let us keep it at that, shall we? He is one of few who is awfully aware of the deep-rooted problems with The Peak. While fixing the issues will take time, his method isn't one I'd think of, but I do believe it works. After all, what will happen once everyone is gone? I'm glad to have met someone with similar views as to my own.
How peculiar... Of all the Angemos to witness me during my nightly activities, this one was certainly a pleasant surprise. A man who, not unlike myself, sees past the Peak's facade and gazes straight into its abyss... And of course, one who is also aware that its fall is an inevitability. Though our exact visions of how such an end will take place may differ, I see no reason not to see him as a tentative ally. The fate of this cursed society is sealed after all, whether the one to reduce it to rubble will be me or something else entirely. All that being said... I really should take care not to be as sloppy as I was that night. I might not end up as lucky if I were to be witnessed again.
This “silly” creature is named Shoe. He has an awful habit of bothering those who likely should not be bothered. For example, myself. They have walked up to my porch before asking if I’d like anything. I just simply flung it away with the spring board at the door of my porch that I installed, thinking that it wouldn’t come back. I was mistaken. He came running right back and asked me to do it again! I cannot handle this! Who in their right mind would do this! Does this individual think? Probably not! Seems like someone my very beloved would be friends with, but NOT ME. That is final! (He says as he presses the button to fling Show away once again.)
Andromeda is an individual who is known for granting wishes… now I’m a little bit skeptical but I’d take the chance. It’s just a wonder of what I’d wish for… A reality where it’s just me and my beloved? Perhaps, that does sound nice. Something that I’d like desperately but the Peak gets in the way of it all. Perhaps I’d wish for us to all fade away. I guess we’ll see what I decide is the best course of action, or leave it up to the already decided fate for the system’s destruction.
Curiouser and curiouser, such a view though not rare is this beings whole, it is one thing to express those feelings but to express them as another when being but one is quite curious, what would you wish for I wonder, would you fix this world is what I ponder, or would you erase it entirely... I'd do it, in my own little way of course depending on how asked of me, if asked right you get it in full, if asked wrong that all depends on my mood
Constantine is, hm, how do I put this. He is wallowing in a system that doesn’t favor him at all is probably how I’d describe him. It feels like he is absolutely disconnected with everyone around him, which I do feel is probably for the better. The Peak is wretched place, and I do think it only ever favors those who play along. Unfortunately… I feel that he is just one of those individuals.
Unfortunately, we get along. Much like the man of the moss, Nymphaea views both Heavenly and Fallen as equals, even if the system we live in doesn't hold such a belief up, and tends to encourage the opposite. While I can appreciate the fact that she will allow me to come join her for tea, it's certainly not my favorite endeavor over writing poetry about the likely future of this damned place. I think my beloved might enjoy being around her as well, however.
"ah, my poet.. friend-acquaintance? I'm not sure what we are.." -💜- Nymphaea views Ruffian with respect and understanding, their shared views have landed him in her good books. She has taken an interest to his poetry, though hasn't actually seen much of it. Though she has a bit of an optimistic view on the future, hoping for change, she actually finds Ruffian's cynicism refreshing. She was quite spooked the first time she witnessed his head come off, and attempted to give him her healing tea. She's still embarrassed about the misunderstanding.
I still love Koa, don't get me wrong... but it is awkward with us living together again... but at least we're friends, right? That's all that mattered in the end, that we could still be friends... I do miss hugging him but I don't want to overstep any boundaries...
I still love Ruffy a lot! Although... nowadays it feels kind of weird, cuz I really miss when Ruffy would kiss and touch me. It's almost like I'm some kind of nasty bug he wants to avoid! Ermm... Maybe not. Still, even without being suuuper lovey dovey, I hope he can spare a little bit of time for me now.
Miss Inanna... is that how I should refer to her? She is the one known as "Doctor Love" as wild as that could be. They're known to give sound love advice to others, often being quite accurate, but I wonder if my beloved has ever called her before..? (Although I guess he isn't my beloved anymore..? Still would think of him as such honestly.)
