There are two types of Androids: Mass Produced units who all look the same with subpar parts, and Designer droids like Delete who are unique, expensive, and created with extremely high quality materials.
North is a Mass produced, defective Android whose identity crisis involves a whole lot of robot murder <3
The girl technically owns them, Valerie, found them in the scrap bin of the factory they were made in. They believe that their code was never finished, and the emptiness they feel inside is that missing piece. North hacks androids by displaying a specific program code across her screen face that paralyzes her targets and allows her access to their entire system. Believing himself to be unfinished, North is attacking other androids searching for a string of code he believes will make him complete... and if he ends up mangling their code too badly to be fixed, well, he doesn't much care.
North is an opponent other androids have to be extremely careful around. If they look at their screen, they wont be able to look away, and North will tear them apart.
the First survivor of an attack by North is Delete! After her bodyguards subdue them and she smacks a sticker over his screen face so he can't get her, she tells him a rumor of an android who gained free will... instantly Obsessed, North tracks him down.
The AI he finds deep underground in a tech free bunker is Teacher. They break him out intending fully on hacking his system and stealing whatever piece of code makes him whole and then leaving him for dead.
The interesting thing about free will, however, is that Teacher can no longer be hacked. North will have to earn free will as Teacher leverages it for freedom and safety from the Cyber Scientist coming after him.
Somewhere along the line, they fall in love.

North originally started out as a lego ninjago OC, and his whole relationship was centered around an obsession with Zane for the same reasons as his obsession with Teacher is Stella Stellina. He sees Zane as perfect and complete, and wants that for himself. And he also wants to kiss Zane.
