Can I adopt them?
:0 She's so pretty! I'm a sucker for anything space-themed and her yellow and brown color scheme reminds me of a bee! She'd go along great with Kiriu and even if they don't understand each other they'd still spend time together by doing outdoor activities or staying at her house to read books! Although I might remove the logo on her shirt since It'd be too hard for me to draw her as she'd act as some sort of a comfort character to me :D
For her backstory, I do not have it all thought up yet but I do have a quick idea I thought about when looking at her design! Dawnie (Most likely keeping her current name but not 100% sure) grew up in an orphanage with the other kids, she did not have any access to many toys so to entertain herself, she'd play in the fields just behind the orphanage. Dawnie's caretaker, a sweet young woman, always cherished the little one and would favor her over the other kids due to Dawnie's outgoing nature. However, no one wanted to adopt her as she can be seen as 'too energetic'. When Dawnie became older, her caretaker took the chance to adopt her as her own daughter as over the years, both of them had bonded in a mother-daughter relationship. The caretaker did not have any children while Dawnie did not have any parents so they were both inseparable. She can sometimes be a bit overprotective over Dawnie whenever Dawnie wanted to go out on her own but eventually she gave up due to Dawnie's energetic persona. Dawnie also received a teddy bear plush from her so she won't feel scared being alone.
For my favorite drink, orange juice definitely takes the lead! Just without the pulp as I'm not a big fan of those.
