An odd girl who possesses the power to raise the dead. Cal's unaware of her origins or how she inherited her unique magic, but thinks she shouldn't find out. All she cares about is perfecting her craft and learning more about the world she lives in.

Personality

Calliope's unusual beginnings make it difficult for her to relate with others. Despite Cal's stoic demeanor and monotone voice, she has a shy and introspective personality. She wishes to make friends but struggles with human interaction, as she often says the wrong things or misses social cues. Her failed attempts at connecting with people cause her to feel isolated and distance herself.

Calliope's morally a neutral person, as she doesn't have strong opinions on most things and will think from a logical point of view. She makes decisions based on what she thinks is best for herself or those close to her. Despite this, she still has a sense of empathy. She isn't willing to get too involved in other people's business, but stills help out when she can. Overall, she's a gentle soul at heart and driven by a natural curiousity to gain more knowledge.

Story

Calliope was the result of an experiment that occurred 5 years ago where a 9 year old girl was risen from the dead with dark magic. She was trained on the necromantic magic she gained and experimented on for almost a year. The plan mysteriously stopped and Cal was abandoned at a graveyard by herself, with her memories of the experiment removed. She stayed there for a month or so, raising the dead to help her survive and keep her company.

Solomon Tanda

One day, a magic scholar named Soloman Tanda enters the graveyard to visit his dead families graves when he finds Cal. At first he's threatened by the undead skeletons, but he realizes Cal is extremely malnourished and offers to help her. She accepts the help cautiously and leaves the graveyard asleep in his arms.

After taking care of her for a year, Calliope warms up to him quickly and begins to trust him more. Cal brought Solomon alot of happiness after being alone for so long, eventually deciding to officially adopt her and be her father. Cal notices how he's cleaned himself up better since finding her. Solomon is initially startled by her unique magic but helps her practice it, even teaching her how to make potions as well.

Editch Academy

Cal lives with her father for 4 years, studying so she can be enrolled in an academy to better improve her magic. He was interesting in getting a position as a professor at the academy as well so it works out. She passes the entrance exam with an 89% which makes her dad pick her up and spin her in the air with joy. Her new life at the academy isn't easy for her, people are offput by her behavior and seemingly freaked out by the magic she possesses. She doesn't care to let that stop her, she just wants to indulge in her studies and hopefully make new friends along the way.

However, it's getting more and more difficult for her to ignore her past when a hallucination keeps bothering her.
