Lamia is a very abrasive and blunt individual. She’s not above flirting and absolutely overflows with confidence in her movements. Each move is purposeful, her words no different. She acts in any way that will benefit herself in the end. You could say she’s incredibly selfish in the fact she values her own life over others. She has things to live for, you’re not one of them.
Lamia belongs to a small family of herself and her mom. They’re part of a very welcoming and friendly village with a tradition of dance and song as a huge part of their livelihood.. Unfortunately, Lamia was born without part of her leg. She was seen as a burden and not a gift like other children. She ‘could not’ continue their heritage and thus could not be considered part of their community.
Her mom was not.. Pleased with this. She was quite upset with their village for shunning her daughter and making her feel from the moment of birth that she was nothing to them. In the middle of the night, they packed up and left their town to find somewhere more accepting… well.
Since they left that day, they never found another place to live. They’ve been moving from place to place, mostly staying in a mobile home and doing roadside dance work together. Her mother taught her how to dance and helped her make a leg for her balance and learning to walk. With how much she’s practiced, you could hardly tell there’s a part missing at all. The two struggle financially but.. Their relationship is good. Lamia loves her mother a lot and they spend a lot of time bonding and hoping that one day they’ll get to have a solid place to live.
Unfortunately, at the moment, the two are separated. They’d taken a job opportunity in a city for the first time, and the two got split up. Currently, Lamia is friends-ish.. With a few oddballs, Elena my beloved ♥ -- While she continues to dance for money, she puts up fliers every now and then hoping her mom will come get her soon.
Her stupid little idiot 'sister.' Lamia has absolutely taken this kid in as her family, looking out for her where and when she can. She loves Elena a lot.
