Childish • Playful • Manipulative
An especially childish demon, Achlys is the little sister of Acheron and the second caretaker of the Ravenshood Hotel. Though she often disguises herself as an innocent human child to lure in unsuspecting victims, this guise is often discarded as soon as she’s able to. Her job in the hotel is to trap and kill the humans that stay there; as a contract demon, she and Acheron rely on the souls of humans for sustenance. Since Acheron cannot leave the hotel, Achlys has taken it upon herself to fend for the both of them… even if her traps occasionally end up a bit more violent than Acheron would have ideally hoped for.

- Achlys is afraid of most animals because they tend to growl and bite at her, often seeing through her illusions and realizing what she really is. The only exception to this fear is bears.
- Though more often seen with Mr. Snuggles, the monstrous teddy she created as a companion to help hunt, Achlys actually has another teddy named Beary. Beary isn't sentient, or even alive at all - but it was a gift from Acheron before they were imprisoned within the hotel, and she would be heartbroken if anything were to happen to it.
- Despite having wings, they are too small to actually keep Achlys aloft for long periods of time, and tire her out when she uses them; as such, she is more likely to walk or ride on Mr. Snuggles's back to get somewhere quickly.
- Of all the games that Achlys is fond of playing, hide and seek seems to be her favorite.
- Though Achlys normally remains in her human disguise when around other people, this disguise slowly fades if she is ever put in immense stress or becomes scared of something or someone.
Achlys’s older brother, and the reason why she stays around in the hotel at all. Glyph was only able to seal him away, and Achlys could still roam free if she so desired; however, she didn’t want to desert her brother, leaving him to rot away in the way that Glyph had intended him to. She looks up to him immensely and is incredibly loyal to him, and though she loathes the situation that he’s in right now, she’ll do whatever it takes to keep him alive and happy.
Glyph is the reason that Acheron was sealed into the hotel, and Achlys absolutely despises him for it. She was well aware that he had intended to let Acheron rot away by trapping him there; as punishment, Achlys in turn cursed him to remain in the cat form he often used to sneak away with. She then trapped the cat inside a pot, but this still never felt like enough. The cat demon ruined her and her brother’s lives, and now that Glyph escaped with Cynthia’s help, she won’t stop until he’s gone for good.
A human that Achlys continuously tries to kill within the confines of the hotel, Cynthia is something of a mystery to her. Sometimes accidentally, sometimes intentionally, Cynthia somehow continuously manages to avoid the traps that Achlys set up for her, and it frustrates her to no end. But that in mind, there’s something about Cynthia’s continued survival that piques Achlys’s interest. At the very least, she can respect the fact that the human hasn’t succumbed yet, even if it’s just another annoyance.
