Skye (Summer Shine)

"All life starts with the sun. I will do my best to sustain that life."

Skye is both Team Season's founding member and the first member to leave the team, due to age. Her powers left her the semester before graduating high school and she is now in college studying biology.

Skye has some reservations about how perfect she seems at first glance; there's a lot of hard work and anxiety that goes into that persona. She's only ever revealed these reservations to Akiko, however. Skye is an extremely private person, but also a compassionate one. She only ever used her powers to help others and to help them do well. That has made her a great teacher, an even better Magical Girl, and an impossibly high standard for others to reach, which has only further fueled her own anxieties. Needless to say, she's relieved to have graduated and hung up the Magical Girl Mantle for good,As for her people-pleasing tendencies and other unresolved issues, she's working on them through therapy and her close relationship with Akiko. 

She has some guilt and lingering worries about that, too, though; what will Peony and Holly do without their upperclassmen teammates? Will they mature enough, in time for the next Summer and Autumn? (Will Team Season even continue at ALL, at this rate?)

PERSONALITY

• Reserved, and appreciates her own quiet privacy.
• Doesn't like to let on what she's thinking. It's more to have ownership and control over her thoughts, rather than to deceive or have the upper hand against others, but there is some of the latter as well - she's got a LOT going on and would rather others not know how close she is to a breakdown at any given moment

• Caring for others but doesn't always know how to show it

TRIVIA/DESIGN NOTES

• Skye's design is entirely symmetrical, save for the stripes at the tails of her waist bow's ribbon. This is to represent that Seasons exist because of Earth's tilt, and despite Skye's disciplined approach to life, there are some things that will remain out of order.
• Skye's design has changed the least from her initial concept drawing, but was designed third-to-last of the Team Season four (Akiko was last).
• Skye and Akiko are girlfriends.
