Akiko (Autumn Leaf)

The type to challenge both monsters AND other Magical Girls to fights, as well as one of few to regularly do so while on active patrol.

A former member of Team Season that greatly exceled at being a Magical Girl from the very beginning to the very end of her career. Akiko's powers left her shortly after Skye's did, and the two graduated in the same year. She was the most hyperactive member of Team Season, but was forced to settle down somewhat without magic to aid her impulsivity. However, she still does her best to help Skye loosen up a little bit, if also in a bit of a self-serving way. Akiko definitely misses the adrenaline rush of fighting monsters and is constantly devising new normal-girl ways to get into trouble (within reason, especially with Skye around to protest the more reckless ideas).

Akiko is an avid fencer and attends college on a sports scholarship; she is currently studying Physical Therapy.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

• Short and stocky, with a bit of curve
• Medium brown skin
• Large straight nose
• As a Magical Girl:
  • Two-toned red and orange hair, with coppery-turquoise eyes
• As a Civilian:
  • Black hair and brown eyes
• Keeps her hair cropped short into a layered bob at all times
• Goth/punk fashion preference

PERSONALITY

• Battle-hungry and competitive. Skye jokes that Akiko should have gotten fire powers instead of wind ones.
• Gets extremely bored and does poorly in a classroom setting.
• Understands things better if she can try it herself. Practical experience is her best friend.
• Needs to be moving.
• Respects effort, no matter your ability levels. Fond of teasing, though, and can get carried away if she's in "competition mode". Got along neutral-positive with Peony because of this.
• Loses patience with poor attitudes very easily. Would sometimes butt heads with Holly because of this.
• Can get jealous and protective. Actively disliked Holly sometimes because of this.

TRIVIA/DESIGN NOTES

• Like Peony, Akiko's design is asymmetrical, in reference to the Earth's tilt (ie what creates seasons) and in direct opposition to Autumn being an "equinox" season (equal night and day). This can be seen in Akiko's sash, arm cuff, hairstyle, and hat bow. She has more extreme asymmetry than Peony to represent her rebelliousness.
