Lyra

Lyra lives in a world of magic, but only magic. Anything BUT magic is looked down upon.  She's not a witch, but she desperately wants to be and believes she is (even if it's her own disillusion). She's basically your sweet stereotypical dumb blonde bubbly social butterfly. In this world, people like to show off by challenging people to duals but instead of doing it with magic, she does it with her trusty gun Marie and her knife Anastasia. Being who she is, they are technically her backups but her coral wand is 'faulty'. The reality of it is she just doesn't ever think that she cant perform magic and instead believes it's her wand and that her backups are actually prized magic artifacts, not non-magical weapons. People close to her cant tell her the truth because she's too innocent and precious to break it to her. But to strangers, she seems like a psychopath for using killing weapons, and most importantly, not magic. She's a terrible fighter and poor shot but people always misinterpret it as warning shots as she never kills in the first shot (or ever kills at all really), doesn't practice any gun or weapon safety while fighting, and her behavior always looks confident since she trying her best while being completely oblivious of her lack of magical talent, and lack of actual skill.  

 Practical info: she likes wearing her main outfit, a purple jumper with a simple white shirt underneath and her witch hat but she also likes to wear her black turtle neck with a black jean skirt with a galaxy jacket over it. She loves traveling and extreme weather, so you can draw her pretty much anywhere

Boba is her favorite drink as well as desert and she really likes the color purple or really all pastels

she's really interested in weather and space/astronomy, but she always says it as astrology because she's a dumbass and got them confused (like many other things)

nobody corrects her as people often think of her as the generic stereotypical dumb popular blond, and therefore believe her while her really really close friends just slap their faces every time she says it as they are trying to cure her ignorance (which by now is impossible) and they know she's is a much more interesting and caring person under the surface than what people know when they first meet her or fight her

she also likes to name her moves and attacks which is a horrible idea as her naming sense is horrendous 

(later in life or maybe another timeline/parallel universe, not current younger design)

She somehow continues to climb the social ladder and ended up becoming a high-ranking mage in the military. She ends up ordering non-magical weapons and artillery in mass, making all her soldiers deem her completely bonkers. She always wins her battles though, as she never uses any strategy and is then unpredictable, and nobody in this world is prepared or expects nonmagical equipment and weapons. Nobody in her squad stops her or rebukes her out of pure intimidation and care for her. She acts as the squad mom and is sweet and caring. People (again) just can't break it to her or bear to try and talk some sense into her as they think she's too precious.
