Roxanne's family was never really wealthy, having to pay a mandatory fee for a second child didn't make it easier. But nonetheless, her parents always tried their best to pamper her. She had her own room, even though she always invited Flynn to stay the night. They always ate whatever Roxanne wanted to eat every Friday, at the expense of Flynn not eating. It wasn't really enough, though. The luxuries Roxanne always wanted like diamond necklaces and gold earrings and pearls were just too expensive.
Not to mention, all of the pampering instilled a strong sense of survivor's guilt. Being praised as much as Roxanne was, despite never doing anything particularly fantastic was confusing. Especially while her brother Flynn was always working so hard in school to get straight A's and impress their parents. They didn't care, but Roxanne always praised him for his efforts and all the cool things he did while composing his own music. She even helped him form Subspectrum. Losing most of her hearing from the supervillain attack didn't dissuade her.

While she's not really the most competent wrestler, Roxanne is still a person that likes getting into the occasional tussle. First, she just did it whenever her brother told her to. Now, its just become a hobby. Roxanne testifies that she doesn't really get angry per say, she mostly just gets fighty. Otherwise, she carries a pretty careless and stoic naivete about her. Not that she doesn't care, anyone that's a friend of her's will know that she's always ready to fight anyone that makes them upset. She's just not particularly good when it comes to taking care of herself. Roxanne is pretty lazy, as well. Hoping to mostly piggyback off of her brother's success since she doesn't really have any other ambitions of her own.
