Cuán Evans

Cuan's partner in crime and in life. Cuan trusts Edvin with his life and shares his darkest secrets and past with him, while Edvin always vows to keep Cuan safe and sound. Upon proposing to Cuan, Edvin made the redhead a vampire alongside him so that the two of them could spend all of eternity with each other.

Growing up within the same horrid orphanage in Cork, Ireland left these two closer than anything. After seeing Cayce lose his ability to speak due to a tragic accent involving vicious dogs, Cuan took it upon himself to learn ISL so he could teach it to the rest of their family and help Cayce out. The two tend to spend the most time together whenever out on jobs.

Saoirse, being the most timid of the group was usually found hiding behind Cuan unless out on a job. Cuan, seeing his best friend was head over heels for a girl they met on a job, pushed him to pursue her and pursue a relationship with Shade. Now, after Saoirse's death, he honors his fallen brother and helps Saoirse's widowed wife with the loss.

Growing up at the same orphanage as the other two, Cuan wishes he could be as assertive as Nolan. Nolan is quick to defend his family at no cost. However, after Saoirse and Sean's deaths, and the betrayal from Riley, he learned to calm down and take life a bit slower. Now, he protects his remaining friends and Edvin's coven by making sure everyone involved is safe, including him.

Upon meeting during a work incident where Cuan was endangered, he was swiftly saved by Edvin and Kyuu. Upon learning Kyuu's line of work despite being a vampire from Edvin's coven, he took it upon himself to learn more about the guy and his own story. He respects Kyuu and what he does, and happily shares tales from his cases so the vampire could write about them in his novels.

Cuan doesn't hold anything against the female vampire whatsoever. In fact, he finds her job as a candy maker quite amusing- providing candies with blood infused in them so vampires do not have to feed directly from people. However, he does find her energy to be extremely exhausting- ESPECIALLY if Edvin eggs her on- which he does 99% of the time. He'd describe her as "being on a constant sugar rush".

After a particular event in which Riley betrayed his family for his own gain and sided with the people that had slain their other two family members, Cuan has grown to hate Riley. Threatening him to make sure he stays far away from him and the rest of his family at any cost.
