Verity, 13 years old mentally, genderless he/it

Tory's younger cousin. An egregiously nerdy, socially stunted bible thumper that's obnoxiously devoted to the hive's god even for a seraph. Nervous and jumpy, it fills in for its debatably apparent lack of friends and independent personality by burying itself in its work. He's often taken advantage of by older seraphs for his determination to service the hive and gets chores dumped on himself. 

Angels' hearts are on the inside of their bodies (variably) but glow through anything covering them with holy fire. Verity was made without eyes or a face but has moved his heart upwards and sees through it. This is a major cause to his blindly trusting and naive personality. Angels that see with their hearts are often gullible and oblivious and it doesn't help that their appearance signals this trait to others immediately.

Psionic power runs in the family. Tory's side got the brunt of it to a debilitating extent, but Verity still got a bite. Due to the fact he has no true eyes his power radiates from him constantly. A group of older seraphs has tricked him into becoming the poster boy for their anarcho-Sulfurist initiative. The alternate mark of Sulfur is not well known in Verity's hive so he wears the group robe with the mark on his chest without any objection, unknowingly spreading the dogwhistle among the population.

Verity resembles a monkey in stature; he retains the thin triangular feline ears that Tory has but his long counterweight tail and more agile hands and hand-feet seperates the two.
