He's a sensitive and easily annoyed child who hates being told what to do. He also hates being called a cat just because he's soft and fluffy and kind of acts like one. Despite being an angry boy, he's surprisingly diligent, skilled, and hardworking.

Personality

Mefi is a very tsundere boy who hates and acts salty toward most people, but tries to keep up that sassy act even when he's happy or enjoys the person. He's very expressive, therefore his emotions are fairly easy for everyone to read. He is very weak to flirting, getting absolutely flustered and embarrassed by any passes at him because he has no idea how to deal with it. He has gotten better with Kou, though, learning how to tell him off while blushing.

Background

Mefi was born in a prestigious demon family known for their aerial abilities and hand-to-hand combat. His father was basically a furry who decided to mix in faun DNA with his own when performing the demon creation ritual in order to have an ideal cute child. Although demons can normally have animal features, they weren't necessarily present in this family, and therefore he looked pretty different from everyone else. He also didn't get born with the signature family wings, and this grew up as a complex as the rest of the family judged, pitied, made fun of, and looked down on him.

Growing up, Mefi was trained in combat as was customary, though teachers had trouble adjusting to his lack of flying ability. Mefi gained high dexterity to make up for this, and excelled in fights. However, Mefi really hated fighting and training, and enjoyed more casual pursuits like hiking, cleaning, and cooking. Eventually, he met Kou-du who offered a position where he could help around the household. Turns out he was tricked into signing a contract of servitude, and he got stuck as a maid for this guy. Though he appears to hate Kou-du and working for him, he honestly was glad to be able to leave his family and didn't regret signing the contract. And though Kou gives him annoying meaningless tasks and forces him to wear a maid outfit, he doesn't actually hate him all that much. But he doesn't like him, either, so. He's pretty content being able to do chill activities most of the time, though, and not having to deal with stigma.
