Pokiza Anjir.
A priestess of the earth goddess who resides in the mountainous regions of Illyria. She worships the cult of the goddess associated with love and fertility; the small temple from which she works is typically visited by couples trying for children, or those seeking advice from the great goddess in the pursuit of love. Though the earth goddess is tied to both love and fertility, Pokiza laments her own unlucky love life… Pokiza is known for being somewhat unorthodox as priestess, and perhaps spends more time outside the temple than he should… regardless, she is deeply beloved by all of the town she resides in.

Personality.
Pokiza is very devout to her goddess, to the point where some assume he has some kind of special connection to Ys herself. She is devout as any priestess should be, prays and performs rituals daily and with punctuality. But he is also a bit… silly. He cries easily and gets swept up in the words of other’s to the point that he can come off as gullible. He can be a bit childish at times as well, pouting when he doesn’t get his way. But for the most part he is calm and rational, and doesn’t panic even when put into more stress inducing situations.
Pokiza is playful, always calm and relaxed even in tense situations, good with children and a wonderful educator. He is also known to be a very reliable person, and deeply loyal to those he cares about.
However, Poki is often sometimes bratty despite his big age. She has a tendency to pick verbal fights with people over petty matters, and can't let go of a grudge.

History.
Pokiza was born in the large city of Chalcedon, the capital of Emathia, though her parents were originally from Illyria. Due to this, she grew up often traveling back and forth between the two vastly different environments. Though Pokiza descends from a family of earth priestesses, her parents were far more interested in the technological innovations of Emathia, which eventually lead to Poki developing an interest in the capital’s budding airship development.
I.
Pokiza attended the same engineering college as Diji, and, like him, was often top of the class. The rivalry between them only became more intense when they both fell for Mon, the pianist who worked at the local bar. When Mon chose Diji, Pokiza poured himself into his studies and was eventually hired by the then recently established Sylph Aerotech Company. While working on these airships had always been Pokiza's dream, this was a tumultuous point in time for her. Completely pouring herself into her studies and work had left her without much of a social life, and those relationships that did exist were fleeting in nature. In this time, she both lost and gained: an eye to an incident that occurred during work, and a child from a whirlwind romance that ended as quickly as it began.
Now a mother, Pokiza's priorities changed greatly. She decided to do what was best for herself and her child, and left the company to move back to Illyria, in a small and comfortable village nestled high within the mountains. What a coincidence it was that Diji and Mon also moved to this small mountainside village, and also had a daughter of their own!
(And while the rivalry between them continued, Pokiza's daughter, Yuliya, and Diji's daughter, Anahita, got along quite well. So well, in fact, that they are now married!)
II.
Pokiza reconnected with her heritage while living within Illyria, becoming an earth priestess under Ys; she specifically worships Ys as a goddess of love and fertility. The small temple in which she does her work is an ancient one, carved from the sturdy stone of Illyria’s mountains. It makes her deeply joyful that her granddaughter wishes to continue in the tradition of the family once she is of age.

- Pokiza's name means "true" in Uzbek.
- Pokiza was originally an OC I'd made in middle school, a disgraced government scientist named Valacour.
- Additionally, Diji and Mon were originally named Pellinore and Nora.

MARIKA - granddaughter
Poki’s granddaughter, a robot that gained sapience and became her own person. Pokiza loves her dearly, and has a tendency to spoil her whenever they spend time together. She’s quite certain that Mari likes her much more than she likes her other grandfather, Diji!
DIJI - rival...?
Even in college, Pokiza and Diji have never gotten along. Nowadays either of them even remembers why they hate each other so much in the first place, but the flames of their rivalry only grow hotter by the day! …Or so they claim. Things have been a bit more civil since their daughters wedded one another.
