Kelli's Comments

I can’t believe I read that she canonically dies!! Oh my gosh poor robot ;A;

What an incredible character! It was a lot of fun reading about her and her backstory, she’s so lifelike for a robot! :D Do you think you’d show what her inner mechanisms look like under the fur, and how she’s able to make all those expressions?

Gosh, sorry, I just now read your comment! I'm very happy you like her though, and enjoyed her bio :) I certainly should do some type of diagram showing how she functions, and probably will do so! Thank you for your kind comment!

Hey, it's no worries!! I'm honestly super happy you replied, I positively adore Kelli and I'm really excited you're willing to draw up a diagram of her functions and expressions! I'm a huge robot fan and you definitely made a great bot like her ^w^ I'm super eager to see more art and how she develops!

Thank you very much!! I waited to respond to you until I got the diagram all finished up, but they're there in her gallery if you'd like to check 'em out :D Once again, thank you so much for your comments and interest, I had a ton of fun making the drawings and planning everything out!

So sorry for the late reply but WOWIE WOWIE WOW!!!! Nippy you did an I N C R E D I B L E job on those schematics, my gosh!! I'm nerding out right now XD You explained lots of info and did such a good job on the examples and small bits, too!!
I loved the explanation for the lip and cheek mechanisms and how they form expressions, the internal view of the head was also super neat, along with a sort of "skinned" version of how her general body looks! For a robot being built in the 80's, she's very complex! :D
I'm curious, how would she sound while moving? Is it obvious she's a robot from the mechanical noises or are they a bit muffled?

Seriously though, amazing job!! Kelli is just rapidly going up the list of my favorite robot characters ^w^

It's totally chill, takes me a while to see comments on here too! Thank you so much though!! I'm really really happy you feel the diagrams came out well, and that you appreciate all the small details included! ^^

I haven't established this super well yet (although I should), but the world Kelli is apart of is a bit more technologically advanced than ours, so compared to their newer robots she's considered to be pretty outdated! Good question! When I imagine her moving, I do picture that it's very mechanical sounding, and a little noisy too :]

Once again, thank you!! I'm very honored to hear that :3
