Quinn

[Parker is my partner's OC] - [Quinn and Parker both use any pronouns. Quinn exclusively uses they and Parker uses she when they're younger/first meet]

Quinn lives and travels with their partner Parker in her van, The Crashmobile. (It's an ironic name u see bc she's never been in a crash...!) They've been inseparable since Parker broke up a fight Quinn was losing, and they both got suspended from their college for the incident. Whoops! 🤪 Fuckem!
They spend their early years doing odd jobs and delivering often confidential packages around the cities they pass through.

The Incident

They've been together for years by the time Quinn and Parker drunkenly decide to do a summoning ritual, "just for fun!" out of a spellbook they were meant to deliver as a side job for cash. They don't read everything correctly and assume it's all a bunch of bullshit, but really they just skipped a step. What they really needed was obviously to draw blood for the binding to be complete! So demons, summoned without an actual place to go, kind of hunt them, or haunt them? Until, well. A few nights later a sleep deprived Parker crashes the van when SOMETHING runs in front of it. Presumed to be only a sleepy hallucination but oh no that's absolutely a demon, baybee! Quinn wakes up in a panic n they check on each other, a bit scraped and freaked out but pretty much fine. They both get out to check the car, Quinn goes around back to check the tires and sees the ... creature they'd run over. Unrecognizable, just a dark mass of gore.
When a drop of Quinn's blood falls to the ground, onto what seems to be the creature's own blood, the Demon absorbs it and partially reforms itself, now able to lunge at Quinn and seal the deal. She is now possessed.   
Everything now feels like a fever dream, and without Parker to witness that, neither of them are immediately aware of what happened.

They spend the next several days recovering in a motel room, slowly figuring out the weird things going on now aren't just Quinn's injured and stressed response to the crash, but something supernatural happening. When the demon takes control, it's like Quinn goes to sleep, and he doesn't actually realize what's going on.
When they finally realize what's happening, Parker acts as interpreter to Quinn when they wake from demon communication, and while Parker doesn't trust this creature, it did promise to leave Quinn unharmed (and Parker unharmed as long as he doesn't interfere...) Both Quinn and the demon will gain more experience sharing this body and mind, eventually both being able to stay in control and aware more often. Will Quinn use these demons powers for revenge? Will the power take control and corrupt our little friend? We'll see! :^)

Domino!
Domino is another character in the story, but we're still working on when to fully incorporating him in the timeline. He's also possessed by a demon, and Parker and Quinn see him as a threat at first. This is all a misunderstanding tho and they'll band together, eventually even becoming friends. He drives around with them, and I think it would be nice to see any combo of them bonding. Quinn and Dom can be drawn flirty as they do hookup eventually. (but Parker does NOT hookup with Dom)

Appearance:
Spiky hair, reminiscent of horns! 4 piercings per ear (3 on top, one on  the lobe) Black drippy ooze tattoo over his top surgery scars. Two long scars on his face. Often has smudgy eye makeup, a messy tear streaked look. Always wears a black choker.
Majority of her wardrobe is black. (Just as a general rule, not set in stone.) Blue jeans is fine, a flannel over a black outfit is fine,, if it looks like something they borrowed from Parker that's totally cool too.
Fun demon features: 
Appearance changes after the demon possesses her, and especially when it's Active. Feel free to incorporate things like this:
Spiky hair morphs into horns! Fangs! Claws! Red sclera (most prominent when the demon is active)! Long tongue??? Sure!

Road Trips, deserted locations and shitty motels, Demons, Fire, Clown Dolls

Quinn Trivia:

• collects little clown dolls to decorate and live in the van, they are Quinn's children
• colorblind
• gets obsessed with songs and listens to the same ones on repeat
• as is horror movie tradition, they never have a working phone when needed :/
  Parker always breaks his, Quinn has a faulty charger and if not out of battery, looses service when it's needed most lol
• often peeks into secret packages Parker is working on delivering, then reseals them..
  (small price to pay when you have top secret mail that isn't going to make it through regular delivery services and you have to hire some weird little punks to do the job....)
• perceives Domino as a threat when they first meet ... but they end up having to help him and turns out their demons may just get along!
