Noel

Noel is a straight face girl with straight bangs and hair that are just as straight. She is very quiet and soft-spoken, rarely making expressions unless she’s around familiar faces. She doesn’t say much and only nods and shakes her head when asked something. It makes her feel awkward interacting with people so she avoids it at all costs. She’s well aware that she’s very bad at social situations so she would rather not get into one in the first place. Oftentimes, she has her twin sibling do the talking for her. Despite being bad at many things, Noel is a quick learner. She can pick up how to do mundane things and drawing skills very easily.

She can be quite the gremlin when she gets to know someone. It’s all in good faith but being close with Noel just means you’re in for a treat with her mischievous deeds. Her pranks are quite harmless though; they can range from hiding your personal belongings to stealing your food when you’re not looking.

At home, Noel spends most of her time drawing her manga. Her parents have to pry her out of her bedroom to make sure she’s attentive to her needs. That’s only because deadlines are always tight. Being at home almost 100% of the time, she ends up spending a lot of her time with her mother. Because of that, Noel has picked up some cleaning and gardening skills. She’s far from good at them but she found herself enjoying them quite a bit. It lets her take her mind off of her work and find inspiration. Other than that, she also enjoys her twin sibling’s company whenever he is home since he’s one of the few people in her life that is her age.

Noel grew up in a very loving home with loving parents. She was quite an energetic ball of sunshine as a child and she was very much adored by the people around her. Having a twin sibling meant she was never alone in anything that she does and that includes getting into trouble together. Her childhood went along smoothly without a hitch. She was well on her way to becoming a very confident individual. That was the case until she began her high school years. Something went very wrong along the way and Noel became a recluse. She stopped talking to people and being an energetic ball of sunshine. It’s as if she became a totally different person. Her parents attempted to help her as much as they could but there was only so much that can be done.

By the end of her first year of high school, Noel was nowhere to be seen. Every day, she would shut herself in her room just to draw. She spent a year exclusively in her room much to her parents’ worry. Only coming out to meet the necessary needs. Something in her sparked the passion for drawing and there was nothing that can stop her from doing so. She never went back to school after that.

Her parents thought this was just a phase and nothing permanent but Noel somehow made it permanent. Her parents are very lenient and often spoil their children so it wasn’t that difficult to become an official dropout. Noel does feel very bad about it so she continues to work very hard at drawing. Fast forward a few years later and she really did make her dreams of becoming a mangaka come true. Her work gets to be published in weekly manga magazines and her parents are very proud of her. Noel’s family is well off with just her father being the sole breadwinner but she feels good being able to make her own money and buy anything that she wants without having to ask her parents.
