A man of many trials and tribulations, he desperately tries to keep his life together once he has the financial stability to do so. His patience only gets tested more by a rocky love life, a free-spirited brother, double-lives and a time-travelling scientist.
About
Urien is a humble and introverted guy, but warm and welcoming to anyone. He tends to prioritize his image and will often do nothing rather than get in trouble for doing something. [He is also very very... flirty, when he wants to be and manages to get people to bed.]
His Jobs
Urien graduated a year early majoring in law in college and eventually went on to become a homicide detective. It was during a serial killer case that he got scouted to become the next upcoming mystery model of the decade. Mysterien.
Similar to Miraculous or Sailor Moon, nobody knows Mysterien's identity and nobody knows Urien models (except for Thierry and eventually Sky). Cue some celebrity shenanigans. It should also be known that he is juggling both his detective job and modelling career, all the while appearing as if he works a normal 9-5 to his peers.
Hellhound Form
As if Urien already doesn't have a lot on his plate, Urien can also shift into a hellhound. Rarely does he do it unless to fulfill certain blood crazes or to groom his fur. Otherwise, it's not a useful asset. Though it does make for some interesting scenarios. Also good for cuddling!
In order for Urien to keep his Hellhound form in check and functioning, he needs to consume a bit of extra blood/protein. If he doesn't, he gets "deficient" and his hellhound instincts will make him crave for blood. Similar to a vampire almost. Except Urien isn't allergic to garlic or sun.
Trivia
- The song that inspired his creation (and sexual orientation) was Tous les Mêmes by Stromae.
- Urien can understand Sign Language. His brother Tarren is mute, so they communicate with ASL/BSL.
- He has a long string of exes. He desperately yearns to have a partner he can love forever.
- After shifting from Hellhound form, his eyes take a bit to adjust back to human vision, so he wears glasses.
- He graduated as a Valedictorian from his highschool. A big feat considering he was a foster kid and didn't have a consistent school career.
- He is a pretty chronic drinker. Because of his boosted immune system, he has a harder time getting drunk, let alone feeling the negative affects of alcohol poisoning. Without these consequences paired with some trauma he wants to forget, alcohilism was inevitable.

Tarren [ Brother ]
Tarren is no blood brother by any means, but their bond is extremely tight knit, for better or for worse. Urien is the breadwinner of the two, but Tarren brings the party. It is also worth mentioning that Urien sometimes belittles Tarren, and it gets on his nerves. Their relationship is flawed, but they deeply care for eachother.
Sky [ Ex-Lover ]
Urien and Sky were fated to be life-long lovers but due to circumstances, they have a rough break up. They try to repair things in the way future, but they still miss eachother dearly and wished things were better between them. Urien believes he was the root of the issue and struggles with forgiving himself.
Thierry [ Best Friends ]
Although Urien gets dragged into Thierry's macho posturing against his will from time to time, these two are always doing things together and consider eachother best friends. Urien was his Best Man at his wedding.
Otto [ [Soon-to-be] Husband ]
Who knew a chance encounter with a stranger trying to run away from the press could lead to becoming lovers down the line...
Ryan [ Coworkers ]
Ryan and Urien both work at the same detective agency. They have a pretty playful relationship and often go drinking after work or on the weekends.
Runo [ Abuser ]
As children, Runo and Urien were best friends in the lab; their relationship extending into their highschool years. They were their firsts. But the relationship promptly ends and Urien would rather not speak to him ever again. This only gets more complicated with Runo's amnesia.
