Jorinde Marchen

Jorinde is a very calm, collected, rational, and on some occasions, whimsical little Plush baby. She is very much a sweet summer child that loves the nice hot summer days and being by the beach, daydreaming of marine tales of pirates and mermaids or tales of Moby dick and the ill fate of the Pequad. Jori cannot, however, handle the spookier stuff that her sister, Ducky, loves nor can she handle cold weather when it arrives. You can see her bundled up, her ears covered even to prevent feeling the chills and will pretty much hide under the blankets for warmth. Inside her Tummy locket is a Beautiful Nautical Toy shelf with Two tiny Needle felted toys: An Otter and a Seal. The Section of the Library that Jorinde takes care of contains Nautical stories, Maritime Folklore, and Prehistoric Life. Jori is named after the Female lead in the Fairytale, "Jorinde and Joringel"
