Bio

Edgewood High football team's favorite linebacker, Dwayne is on the surface just another jock. However, beneath the pads and helmets, Dwayne's true passion is song and he wants someday to show the world his voice.

Living in Edgewood most of his life, Dwayne has grown weary of the everyday monotony of mountain town life and wishes for the sights and sounds of the city someday. A fan of musical theater and songwriting, Dwayne adores places like New York City and while lucky enough to get vacations every other year, always yearns to go back. While at home however, Dwayne loses himself in Broadway performances and recordings of live singer shows (in between football practice).

Dwayne, while a singer at heart, doesn't necessarily dislike sports however. A beloved member of the football team, Dwayne enjoys keeping his mind and body sharp and is through-and-through still a jock, just with a mic in hand as well. Dwayne is also not as bombastic as his friends, being noticeably quieter in groups and only getting loud when it's about something he loves. He also cares deeply for his Bros Ivan and Paulie, spending as much time as he can with them and often times rarely seen at school without Paulie, his Best Bro he's known since 6th grade.

His older twin sister (by five minutes) Rhonda, the school body president, is in a way his role model and voice of reason. And while the two seem to have wildly different interests and priorities, Dwayne considers them extremely close, but fears a day they grow distant. So he tries his best to make sure the relationship with his sister never drifts (in ways that may not be doing him any favors).
