Profile

The overseer of the maximum security prison that resides in Hell, and the one in charge of securing Aiden’s fate. He’s blatantly arrogant, egotistical to an extreme, and a shameless sadist. Out of every single tortured soul residing in Hell, it's practically no contest in terms of who is most fitting for such an otherwise draining and cruel job.

Unfortunately, the Warden's extreme loyalty to his job (and, as a result, order itself), makes him rather easily confused-- anything he doesn't understand, or expect, stops him right in his tracks as he attempts to untangle the confusion in his head.

The Warden used to actually be a human- dying of natural causes, and enduring centuries of punishment- only to eventually be transformed into a Demonic Spirit, the inbetween of Demons and regular Punished souls, and given the title of ‘The Warden’- sent off to manage Hell's prison.

While alive, he was an executor, and would often cast judgment on his own terms, giving anyone he deemed worthy a fitting punishment. He enjoyed being above the people he executes, using the job as a loophole to legally cement himself higher than others. Sometimes he'll purposely make it worse for them if he deems it fitting, simply because he can. He sees himself as more significant than any others in the law system because, in his eyes, he is the final step that a prisoner takes in cementing their punishment: death.

Fun Facts!

The Warden's real name is Herod Stokes.

Seeing as he's merely a Demonic Spirit, he often gets bullied and toyed with by one of his seven bosses: that being Asmodeus.

The Warden disguises himself often- that fluorescent, purple-complexion of his isn't how he really looks. In reality, he's a giant, disgusting, horrific spider-creature. Have fun with that.

The Warden doesn't have outbursts of anger like one would expect. The angrier he gets, the colder and more calculated he becomes- he gets calmer.
