As his identical twin, Hate has the same sort of face as Love, and the same colour hair. However, that is where the resemblance ends. Her unhealthy habits have made her face thinner, her skin more ashen, her bob-style hair more straggly. When working on a job, she often completely forgets to eat or bathe, not that personal grooming has ever been a high priority for her anyway. She dresses in dark shades, mostly black and grey, with the occasional splash of dark blue or khaki, and dons dark shades of eyeshadow too, with black lipstick and nail polish. She wears contact lenses instead of glasses to look less like her brother. Her own eyes are a stormy grey.

Love’s twin sister, she wants exactly the opposite to him, desiring to spread hatred throughout every land. She delights in tension and fighting, and will do anything she can to destroy good will between men. She loves her job more than anything, and on the very rare occasion that she does take some time off, it is only to spy on her brother to find out how best to ruin his own work. She tends to creep around where she isn’t wanted, and it takes a strong will to get rid of her. Mostly, she eats junk food.

All it takes is one touch to the forehead of a mortal, and the seed of hatred is planted. She then drags an intangible thread from the seed to the head of another for requited hatred, or wraps it around them for it to be unrequited.

She feels much the same towards her brother as he feels towards her. Her quest in life has always been to ruin his work as much as possible, and she takes great delight in it. She is tolerated by the other Powers, who see her necessity, but not exactly liked by many, as she’s such an asshole. She doesn’t care, though - she thinks they are all nuisances anyway.
