There are three degrees to which the vast majority will know Seager. To some, he's a carefree and friendly youth, reminicient of a spirited, albeit troublemaking, child. Others see him as a vagabond with too much free time; his pride, confidence, and brash tendencies leave many with the phrase "that cocky bastard" on their lips. The warm smile and good-natured demeanor are merely a mask to disguise his true nature: cunning, unreliable, and untrustworthy, more trouble than he's worth. However, those who frequent the battlefield will have heard the rumors of a ruthless, thrill-seeking warrior, one with a serene smile and eyes like the bottom of the ocean, who's powerful as forty senior mercenaries, who's singlehandedly taken down a whole group of seasoned hunters at once, who lives for nothing more or less than the thrill of battle.

Seager doesn't care for such rumors, nor what people choose to think about him. As far as he's concerned, whichever of these views one decides to take about him, to a degree, they'd be correct.

Seager cares most about honing his skills and believes that there are always opportunities to get stronger, no matter how far along one already is. He holds unparalleled prowess in wielding all nature of weapons. He'll take any opportunity that he thinks will make him stronger, tasks included, no matter how difficult they are. When it comes to completing such tasks, Seager prefers head-on or upfront (usually threatening) approaches to diplomacy or manipulation, though he's not above using underhanded methods to get what he wants. He also doesn't believe in harming innocent/weak people or bringing them into conflict they aren't involved in, but he's flexible and willing to compromise his values if it comes to it.

True to his contradictory nature, despite taking the most pleasure from the most deadly battles, he will do anything and everything in his power to keep himself alive.

However, conscious of the fact that he constantly wears a deceiving facade of kindness himself, he rarely thinks the kindness shown to him by others is genuine. He will gladly humor those who consider him a ‘friend’, though plenty of times — disappointing but unsurprising to him — they end up being just another opponent to conquer. Bad fates fall upon those who blindly place their trust in him, and there seem to be few people, if any at all, that he, himself truly trusts. Though he doesn’t show it, deep down it weighs on him when innocent people are caught in the midst of the chaos and brutality of his own doings.

Appearance

Seager is a tall young man of Russo-Slavic descent with fair, faintly freckled skin. He is agile and lithe, with a well-toned body and somewhat of a broad chest. Numerous scars lace Seager’s body, which he takes great pride in. His fluffy hair, going down to the nape of his neck, is naturally a caribbean blue, while his eyes are a cooler, deeper blue (sometimes with a ring of gold). They do not reflect light. When excited, his pupils can be seen as narrow slits.

The clothing he wears is mostly light, loose, and flowy. He prioritizes utility and comfort, disliking anything tight or restricting that will get in the way of his fighting. WIP

Abilities

He is well-versed in all manner of weapons, and has extensive combat experience from participation in many different events and jobs. Due to the nature of his magic, however, he is least experienced with archery and ranged combat.

Seager’s magic grants him the ability to form objects out of water (which he uses to create weapons to fight with), as well as imbue his limbs with magical energy for greater physical capabilities. He must maintain physical contact with the object at all times to maintain a steady flow of energy to hold their shape — in other words, his magic only works with melee weapons, not ranged. The ability to constantly shift the shape of his chosen weapon makes for a unique, fluid fighting style (which, like his personality, is quite unpredictable).

Past

Seager was raised in a far northern rural setting, and is the second oldest of six siblings. He was fascinated by the stories of great heroes his father told him, and wanted to become like them despite his diffidence as a child. This ambition grew as his magic manifested for the first time at around 10 years old, inherited from his great-grandfather. After paying the young Seager a visit, his elusive aunt Morgan used her connections to enroll him as an apprentice under a magic practicioner, a personal friend of hers. Seager would proceed to spend increasing amounts of time far away from home, going to school and eventually studying magic abroad under his master.

Following unexpected circumstances, Seager was afflicted with an ancient and powerful curse. The transformation occurred over the course of more than a year after than the encounter, and permanently altered his magic and sense of self. His master sought the help of an old disciple, Ushio Minamoto, in an attempt to make sense of the curse and Seager's newfound power. However, after seeing a larger, draconic manifestation of Seager's curse, Shio became disturbed and left suddenly, leaving Seager to figure out and extend the limits of his power by himself. WIP

• He is bisexual, which means he’s attracted to anyone who can defeat him in physical combat.
• He finds weak people boring and prefers to surround himself with more interesting people — the stronger, the better.
• Manipulative when he needs to be. Splendid actor, to his credit. Likes performing and being front and center; this being said, his improv skills could use a little work.
• Somewhat childlike, enjoys sweets and toys.
• Surprisingly good at cooking and domestic household chores. A bit of a malewife
• During the latter half of high school, he often got into fights, most of which ended with him getting suspended for “unruly behavior”. He was known as “The Whale” on the swim team due to his swimming prowess and natural affinity for water; while he was well on track to become the team captain, he was kicked off after one too many suspensions.
• Due to his active life and his curse, he has a high metabolism. He delights in trying new foods. Rather unfortunately, his single weakness is chopsticks.
• Carefree spirit, does whatever he feels like at any given time. Is a bit of a vagabond and doesn’t seem to have a set residence. His master has sometimes woken up to Seager sleeping on his couch, having snuck in during the night.
