Eri

Main protagonist of Orehiki's Reiwa arc, and second year student at Kokusai High School.

Eri originally comes from the neighboring town of Kanuma, only transferring schools because his original school district merged with another in the northern town of Hirayama. His house and parents still reside in the Kanuma area, but Eri dorms in the Kokusai dorm apartments with his sister during the school year.

He's known to be fairly reserved, not really bringing much attention to himself, and his neutral face gives a look that strangers would describe as "serious and belonging to a delinquent for sure," although he's not a bad or angry kid by any means. Eri's actually quite kind, and takes a lot of consideration for others. He's a quiet observer, and a fierce defender, but also fumbles when people tease him, especially when it comes to Kei.

Eri's life is pretty mundane, and he doesn't mind it being like that. He would say it's a peaceful life with no surprises. At least, until his school merges and the transfers are set...

Enter the start of his second year, and the start of the nights where Eri's sleep is disrupted by these recurring dreams. Dream where a strange man all dressed in old fashioned clothing, is there, and the experience of living in Hirayama is changed as things start to feel familiar, almost nostalgic.

Eri is left-handed, and he goes on casual jogs occasionally as a relaxing hobby. He starts to get chronic nosebleeds during his second year, seemingly out of nowhere.
