After Ezekiel's ressurection, he has essentially become the living dead. He does not bleed blood, but instead inky goo and dirty sea water. He still feels pain and emotions though.

 Iron Will
Of iron and blood

Immortality comes with a price - or a gift. For Ezekiel, it's the power to manipulate iron.

Ezekiel has the power to bend iron, and uses this to form weapons. However, through years of honing this skill, he's now capable of manipulating iron on a microscopic level - now being able to bend blood this way. Ezekiel is currently capable of manipulating creatures around the size of an elephant. However, the larger the creature the more limited his bending is - for smaller creatures he's capable of bending movements and blood flow much more easily than with larger creatures.

Undead

Magic permanently alters an essential function of the caster's body (3): Since rising from the deep, Ezekiel has not known age, thirst or hunger. He can still eat or drink, but his body will not react to the effects of rotten food or alcohol in the same way as before. Rather, it takes more to feel these effects whether it be becoming drunk or sick from food. However, he still feels pain and emotions, just not the physical effects that might have come with them once upon a time.

Through honing his skills, his magic is capable of passively making his heart beat, though this does not have any particularly important function as he's undead. It's purely for aesthetics. The same goes for circulating blood around his body to mimic bodily reactions. If he doesn't manipulate it himself, it only runs through his body slowly.

History

In the beginning, it had been a little boy and his parents. They'd been happy, once. Living in a little village, having the help of the community to get by. It had not been spectacular, by any means. It had been a simple life, in a faraway land lead by the generous and kind King. Or so he was told, as a child. For what he didn't know, being too young to understand, too young to do anything even if he knew, was that their King was cruel. Their land was dying, and the only thing they had was their community to get by.

But so the young boy was never told, no, his mother hid the truth. He'd only know the little community, the loving life within the village. There was no need for him to know of the devastating reality on the outside, that any slight offence - whether real or perceived - would be met with death. That his father would die that way soon, or that his mother, too, would meet the same fate when he grew older. Or that'd he become a knight, sworn in to protect the same country, the same King, who killed those he loved.

But you do things to get by, to live. To survive. A corrupt and rotten King, who couldn't care less for his people, that's who he served. And he too got infected, as time passed. Enchanted by his King, the lies he told, he started to become one of them. Not as cruel, yet, but blind to the wrongdoings. And he served him well, rose through the ranks as he grew older and more experienced. Yet it wouldn't be enough to save him.

Not now, when he was out at sea. Finding clans, independent monarchies and different secluded areas. To change them, convince them they would not survive on their own - setting an example to further solidify their proposals and why they were needed. Most surrendered, the small and weak places, and their Kingdom would expand, get new soldiers. But not all would be this easy, and failure was the same as disloyalty. So when the raven brought a message, he was struck down, just like anyone else who dared oppose their generous and kind King. When the raven returned to their King, he'd be down below, at mercy to whatever gods ruled this godforsaken place.

Yet, this would not be the end of him. Rather, it was only the beginning. He couldn't explain what it might have been. But where he was once sinking to the bottom of the ocean, he was now washed up on a beach. But things were different now. Whoever had brought him back, he felt them talk to him. Their presence. Or it. He didn't know, he didn't question. Not after his generous and kind King had left him for dead. No, he did not question things anymore, just did what had to be done to survive. Life was fragile, and one wrong step would send him back to the realm of the dead. So he learned, through practice and communication with whatever presence had brought him back. At times, he wasn't quite sure what had transpired and how he had gotten back, and at other times his mind reminded him who he was - he was a god in the making. Risen from the dead, unable to be killed, someone to fear.

And as the centuries came and went, he lived and he learned. Getting more powerful, the seeds of corruption slowly making their presence known as the time passed. Becoming capable of controlling the iron of the earth, and later, that found in another's body. With it, he could control his own as well, controlling his own blood to aid him if needed. He couldn't die, no, for he could control himself and anyone else. At least, that's what he was told at night, when he tried to sleep - or what he told to himself, he still would not be able to tell.

So now, he came and went as he pleased, sowing a little bit of chaos wherever he went but never forgetting who he was.  Seeking knowledge anywhere he came, pitying the poor fools who could never live like he - and scrutinising their so-called gods. For which had brought him back, if any at all? Or was the only thing left, to pity them, for living a short and mortal life, when he himself could go on to the end of time? How boring, how sad, to live a life without power or knowledge. How he pitied them. [768]

Present:

A short run-in with a monster and the many oh so brave mages who tried to bring it down. Had a bit of fun aiding the monster instead, curious how this would affect those doing their best and failing... Doesn't think it really matters much in the long run, but he senses that the rest of the nation is in turmoil. Interested in how this develops...
