EZEKIEL (STORY NOTES)

Profile

- When he came back to life, he reverted back to what he knew --> being a knight. However, he had never been a noble and honourable one, only loyal to the King that had then become his killer.

- Back then he didn't look as corrupted either, so his appearance was that of a washed up and broken Knight. The only thing he was still left with was his armour and his sword. What was new, and more interesting, was the muttering of his saviour, his god.

- Petty thief and criminal in the beginning.

- in some country was approached by an organisation of criminals who did more than just petty thieving. Was here that he started to make money more regularly and could live again. Becomes comfortable here for a while, now making a living and worrying less about getting by.

- Starts to become more interested in how things work rather than just stealing and moving on. Also starts to inquire about religions and traditions in different cultures he visits - he wants to know more about his god, if there even was one involved.

- Leaves the organisation behind and posing as a noble knight once more - a role he is quite familiar with but the reason is new.

- He travels more. Sees the world, visits grand cities and small villages, learns of their heritage, their culture. Learns nothing of his god.

- At some point learns about his powers, spends a lot of time visiting skilled mages and honing this newfound magic of his.

- At some point also gives up on finding info on his god, and instead makes up his mind that whatever saved him cares no more - or perhaps, he is rising above and becoming one himself...

- As he gets more powerful with his magic, becoming able to bend the iron in the blood within people and controlling them, his focus shifts. What does a god do on the mortal realm, what is his purpose here?

- His appearance also changes, and with it his mindset. He is no fortune maker, no bringer of luck and happiness. He was always a warrior, a bringer of war and destruction for his King. Now, he ravages the lands instead.

- Abandons morals of knighthood - he may don the armour of one, but he is not noble. He's here to claim his place as a King of this realm, whatever it may take - but he has time for is also, and that is spent learning more and seeing how he can use that information.

- He currently "owns" a smaller house away from the roads. It is unknown what happened to its former inhabitants, but make he probably had something to do with it. It's not grand nor anything to be impressed by, but it's simple. It will do, for now, until he becomes more

- Spends most of his time reading the books he has acquired over time. Honing his skills and practicing on the small animals that are so unfortunate to walk by him.

- If, when, he is in need of money, he'll find it in the pockets of travellers. And if not handed over nicely, he'll make them. They usually survive - it's not often that people linger, not wanting to lose control of their body more than once. It's an uncomfortable feeling.

- Perhaps, deep within, there's some part of him that wishes to be redeemed. To be told that his resurrection does not mean he is a God, but that he got a chance to live another life, a healthy, calm and quiet life. One of peace, perhaps. And perhaps, he needs to be set in his place, to be shown he's really not all that great.

- And when that happens, if it does, who will he become then?
