Érable is a sweet and overapologetic tom. He is excited at the hope of joining La Beaute du Printemps as most cats are nice to him and there's always plenty of food to eat. However, he can't help but be a little uneasy around some cats, like Pebble. Still, some cats are very sweet such as Miel and Pâquerette, who he both hangs out with often. There's also Reine Rafale, who let him join during his attempt of the trial, deciding the trial was too cruel. He had planned to become un Chasseur des Proies, and he still plans to eventually, but a kit joined the kingdom with no family. Érable decided to take in the young kit so she could have a parental figure and, in a way, to say thanks to Reine Rafalle for allowing him to join. Although Myrtille is getting older, Érable still spends lots of time with her. He won't lie though; he does desire to get out of his and Myrtille's den and into the beautiful mountain territory of La Beaute du Printemps.
