Pirene is a member of the Mystics, the people who travel with the Ancient Seraphina. He doesn't take much seriously, and though he doesn't always know where to draw the line, he's learned how to balance work and play- Or, even better, combine them in a way so that no one knows if they can ask him to stop doing whichever it is he's doing.

He's a little on the tall side, with broad shoulders and not nearly enough weight on his frame. He wears a friendly expression at most times, thin-lipped grin at the ready. His wardrobe is simple, featuring a few loose, comfy shirts and work-ready pants, accented by a pair of golden studs in his ears.

"Can you fill the silence?"

Pirene doesn't have a designated, singular career path. Aside from "highlight to everyone in my hilarious, frankly genius presence", as he might claim, he makes a good messenger and errand boy, babysitter, stablehand, gossip, and perhaps even friend if you can sift through all the layers of joking.
His closest friend, Ambriel, is disastrously gay. Pirene considers it his job to try setting Ambriel up with a good guy, and considers it his secondary job to set shedding otterlings loose with all the belongings of anyone who hurts his best bud. While not exactly pushy, Pirene can be persistent with his attempts at matchmaking. He's not above conspiring behind Ambriel's back to set up an opportunity.
Pirene's other best friend is Pepper, Ambriel's bonded Grim Rune Dragon. While he doesn't have a magical, familiar-esque tie binding Pepper to himself like Amber does, he does have the magic of bribery to steal the attention of the tiny dragon. In his experience, it works just about as well, if not better. He takes great satisfaction when Pepper flies from Ambriel's shoulder to his when he visits.
