Out of every dog in Rose Petal Kennels, Daae has the most issue getting along with Snow. This isn't saying much, as Daae doesn't have too many problems with the Maximum White Isabella, but the two just seem vaguely uninterested in each other. On one occasion, there was some snapping, but it is still unclear if this was somewhat caused by the other dogs out in the kennel yard or if it was explicitly between the two of them. Regardless, they don’t seem particularly fond of each other, but they’re content to go do their own thing away from each other rather than start a fight, so as long as someone is there to keep an eye on things, there has yet to be an incident that keeps them from being let out into the yard together.

Whatever Rumplestiltskin is mixed with has caused him to be a rather anxious dog, and that’s where Daae comes in. Daae took to Rumplestiltskin immediately, not seeming to mind the other husky’s at times clingy nature or the fact that sometimes he’d get too nervous to come out into the yard. Daae being around has helped Rumplestiltskin open up and show off a whole new side of himself, though he’s currently at the point where he will only do so if Daae is around. Having Daae spend time with him is a major blessing, as Rumplestiltskin gets very nervous interacting with too many new dogs at once, but also gets incredibly lonely if left by himself for too long. She has been a great help to him, and there is debate on if Rumplestiltskin should start being brought out without her or if she should be taken back in before him to see if he will become less dependent on her.

Benedick is a moody dog who likes who he likes and dislikes who he dislikes. He is very particular about what dogs he will and won’t play nice with, though it’s still not quite clear who will fall in which category, and he will not hesitate to make it clear that he does not like someone. As he is both aggressive and confident, he has no problems instigating a fight, which is why he is often not allowed out with the other dogs, as he does not do well with them interacting with him. Daae meeting him was actually a complete accident, as someone hadn’t properly latched some door or another and had let her get out into the yard with him. There was a rush to try and get her out, but before anyone could, they realized Benedick was leaving her alone. It was this that first sparked Daae to be considered for acting as a companion (in some ways, as emotional support as well) for other members of the kennel. With some hesitancy and small exposures, it’s become clear that (though they have to take it slow) Benedick may be able to put up with dogs he normally wouldn’t if he has Daae around. For whatever reason, she has a calming effect on him.
