Nyx

Childhood

Nyx was born 500 years before the end of the Archon war and she is the last offspring of an Illuminated Beast and a human. Her father is an Illuminated Beast called Ethyr(ally of Morax), surnamed the "Golden Goat" by humans. He was a popular deity in Liyue and Fontaine, however, when he left the battlefield because he fell for a human, his decision was disapproved by human and other adeptis, and his popularity dropped and he never showed up again, everyone forgetting him.

After building a house with his lover near the border between the chasm and Fontaine, he decided to found a family, and he had 3 kids, all half human and half Illuminated Beast(half goat to be more precise). Nyx was the youngest one. During her first years, she was a crybaby, she was crying for everything and was a really annoying(according to her father). When she was able to speak, walk and run without help, she was a little monster, always running everywhere and screaming, she was curious about everything and could play and imagine things with anything.

Adolescence

During this period,Nyx was still forced to stay in the garden and wasn't allowed to go further outside, which was really frustrating. His father was limiting her because he was worried about her, he didn't want her to encounter humans and feel sad afterward because they mocked her about her physical appearances or other things. But Nyx was starting to get mad, she was annoyed and tired to do the same things everyday, over and over, years after years. She really wanted to see new things and explore the world, she wanted to experience what freedom felt like. She felt that something was missing inside her, and she was sure that exploring the world could fill the void inside her. Her father disagreed a lot and she started to withdraw.

Adulthood

2 centuries later, her mother was dead a long time ago due to her old age. Her big brother fought with his father and never went home again, and her sister was now living in Liyue. One night, she cut her hair very short and decided to run away, far far away from her home and that's how her new adventure begun. She traveled for a whole year, nearly dying 4 times and escaping death narrowly. Once, after getting attacked by hilichurls, she received her pyro vision, by her will to survive and discover the world.

After one year of traveling,she arrived at Mondstadt, and directly went to the Angel's Share, to drink a bit and meet new people. She met Kaeya and Venti there and drank alcohol with them. They were really nice people ,she thought, and she asked them what she could do to earn a bit of money. Kaeya recommended her to join the Adventurer's Guild, and she did! She met plenty of people such as Bennett, Razor and Fischl.
