An orca-sapien/orca merman!
A couple facts about him
-he has no gills! Just like other whales, he has to breathe oxygen through a blowhole to survive. However, he can't let his skin be without water for too long or he'll eventually die
-his body is slim to better cut through the water at high speeds.
-very intelligent.
-has little claws on the ends of his fingers
-he has 5 blowholes; a primary blowhole on the forehead, two on the shoulder blades, and two nostrils that remain closed for most of the time.
-has a mouth full of sharp ridged teeth built for hooking onto prey
-webbed hands
-ears and nostrils can open and close to keep water out, able to create a vacuum.
-has four ears, all the better to hear through the dense water
-he knows how to blow bubble rings in different shapes. Orca-sapiens often learn this trick while they're young.

-Vocalizations must be very loud in order to pierce through the water's sound barrier and be heard clearly.
-His vocalizations are similar to a dolphin's.

-has small spines on some parts of him. This is a male characteristic, and these spines tend to attract females.

-he has several extra muscles in his body for better maneuvering in the water. He also has a strong torso & tail to make swimming much easier.
-All Orca-sapiens have blue eyes that darken with declining health. Bright blue eyes indicate a healthy orca-sapien, while dark blue indicates unhealthiness. The iris of the eyes turn pitch black and dull when deceased.
-there lives a myth among the ocean that long ago, the ancestors of Orca-sapiens could grow legs and walk on land by will, shifting between land and sea. This is thought to be the reason why whales are born with a pelvis that is never used throughout their life. However, this myth has not been proven- at least not yet.
-one of Kai's favorite things to do is to make people laugh. He carries hate for nearly all humans, but once he shows his true colors, he turns into a sweet boop-loving goofball.
-just like other extremely rare creatures, he has been taught to avoid humans at all costs. The rest of his civilization stays hidden in the depths of the Dead Sea.
