Profile
Wrigley has a near-insatiable desire for knowledge,
one that would take more from him than he had
originally bargained for.
"All this needs is a little elbow grease! And a blowtorch..."

Wrigley is a self made man, literally and figuratively. Born an orphan, he lived in and out of foster houses and the Orphanage, where he would inevitably end back up. Creating explosives from household objects, running the electricity bill up in an attempt to create a more compact battery, accidentally electrocuting all the frogs in the neighbor’s pond, and so on and so forth.
Where the orphanage and foster parents saw a liability, Wrigley saw a future in engineering. He left the orphanage, cut his hair, changed his clothes and his age, and adopted the name Nikola Wright in honor of two of his biggest inspirations.
With his penchant for innovative thinking, it wasn’t long until he had made a string of connections that eventually led him to a promising job in the Voxola radio company, working directly under Robert Wagstaff himself.
The world of The Constant is similar in few ways to the world Wrigley was once accustomed to. However, he accomodated to his new surroundings with ease. His natural fascination towards the unknown tends him to get a little too close to danger at times, but he knows the other survivors will have his back... probably.
Speaking of the others: each of them comes from such a unique place! With so many diverse experiences, it's hard not to be anything but endlessly intrigued. From a regular mime (if such a thing exists) like Wes to a literal imp-demon creature born to The Constant like Wortox, Wrigley is definetly not lacking of concepts to explore!
As much as he learns from the rest of the survivors, Wrigley is proud to say that he contributes his own knowledge, and even teaches others!
Good at Recycling materials:
When crafting an item or structure, Wrigley uses 10% less building materials. Materials refunded at random.
Learns from his friends:
A passive talent that allows Wrigley to attain a bonus from a proximity to another survivor. Bonus varies depending on survivor. Wrigley's bonus comes from the character closest to him, in the event there are multiple, up to 10 squares away in any direction.
Can use the power of science to fight:
Harness electricity to build a tesla staff! Jolt the waters of frog ponds! All this and more using the new, (patent pending) Shocker(TM)!.
Easily paranoid:
Wrigley has a tendency to be quite within his own head. When he spends too long away from other characters, he experiences a continuous sanity drain.
Can use the power of science to fight:
Wrigley "Science isn't doing its job right if it's not mad" Wright is almost comically unlucky when it comes to workplace accidents. Utilizing electicity has a 5% chance each hit to strike Wrigley instead.
Learns from his friends:
Unfortunatley, not everything Wrigley learns is helpful. Per day, there is a chance that instead of gaining the perk of a character's company Wrigley experiences a form of one of their quirks instead.
Surrogate Sister
From the moment Wrigley met Wren, he grew fiercly protective over her. He'd seen enough kids in his time in the orphanage to know what a lack of love looked like. Even in a place like The Constant, he tries to give Wren the best quality of life he can.
Piggyback rides, little sweets, tinker toys, the whole works! Not to mention, Wren even helps him out on experiments sometimes. Hopefully she's taking good care of that Seedshell Schrapnel Mine(TM).
Friend
When Wrigley first learned of Willson and the invention that inadvertently brought them all together, he was intrigued beyond measure, both with the machine's contents and the character of Willson himself.
With all he knows now, Wrigley pens Willson to be exactly the kind of mad-scientist crazy he wants to be around. Together, they become even more extreme agents of chaos. At the moment, the two are debating over schemes for a "Weaponized Killer Bee Hive". Hopefully they both have bee suits.
