Asena

Asena was homeless unknowing of what happened to any of her family but she didn't let it bother her, she learned how to survive on her own and did pretty good for herself. Then she came across a girl and felt the need to help her, that girl was Zeren and the two became close friends who would look out for each other. They were each other's family.

The life Asena and Zeren lived wouldn't last forever it seemed. One day when Asena went out to look for food, a small group of masked adults caught her eyes. As she looked at them more she got an uneasy feeling and started to back away until one of them spotted her and alarm bells started ringing in her head. She ran and the group chased her through the forest she and Zeren lived in. Upon reaching Zeren she frantically tried explaining but couldn't speak fast enough as she felt someone grab hold of her. She watched as Zeren tried running to her but was picked up by another member of the group. Zeren used her magic and was able to escape from them and run. Asena hoped that Zeren would be safe. She swore to herself she would find her friend again, and to this day she keeps an eye out for her long-lost friend.

Her memory is foggy but she remembers being saved from her kidnappers eventually and these new people took her in. They weren't great though as they wanted to condition her to become a killer. They knew about Asena's species and knew how strong they could be. So, they taught her and Asena works as an assassin now for the group who saved her as she feels indebted to them. She takes on jobs killing people to earn money for them, and she gets whatever's left of it, which isn't much. In all honesty, she doesn't want this job but she doesn't have a way out, sure these people saved her but...she doesn't want this life.

As the news of Aurora's Uprising spread, she gains a new job: to capture the members. Maybe, just maybe they can be her way out.
