- nagi's default state is sleepy. no matter how much sleep he gets the night before, he can't help nodding off in the middle of the day.
- nagi is more rash than rational
- he usually doesn't start conversations, but is fine with continuing one.
- nagi likes those who are younger than him, often treating them as pseudo-siblings, but is wary of those who are older, especially those who don't seem very responsible. he knows that this is hypocritical of him but he can't help it.

- maylin aisling: his older sister by three years. when nagi was young, he was often jealous of maylin because their parents fawned over her intellect. their relationship was better in middle school. nagi still lashed out at her, but usually it was more because of grumpiness than actual spite. maylin slowly started to become more distant from her family when she entered college. nagi, hurt by how often she chose her friends over him, became bitter towards her once again. sensing his coldness, maylin suggested going on a family bonding trip to the mountains; however, white water rafting ended with her in the hospital, and eventually in a long coma. after a year, nagi ran away from home, bearing resentment and guilt towards his sister.
- alistair aisling: his younger brother by 12 years. nagi basically raised alistair with the amount of times he was assigned babysitting. he found it annoying to deal with at first, but eventually came around to the idea of being the older sibling. nagi found it funny when alistair got annoyed, so he would purposefully bug the other. after maylin left the house, nagi and alistair were usually left alone while their parents went out, so they had a comfortable relationship. when nagi ran away, he seriously contemplated bringing alistair with him, but ultimately decided against it as he believed alistair would forget about him anyway.

- his favorite drink is milk. tragically, he discovered he was lactose-intolerant in his sophomore year of high school. nowadays, he just drinks lactose-free milk but sometimes he drinks regular milk even if it gives him a stomachache later. he always claims that it's worth it.
