- maylin is generally very friendly, though she finds it difficult to start conversations with strangers. if someone takes the intitative though, she is more than happy to continue chatting.

- she leans toward being more weak-willed than stubborn. confrontation is her worst enemy. she cannot handle stress very well either.
- ever since entering college, maylin has been dazzled by all the independence she is given after a lifetime of being regulated by her parents. she loves exploring different places that she's never been able to go to before.
relationships
- nagi aisling: her younger brother by 3 years. they didn't really talk to each other until around the time that nagi entered middle school. maylin had realized that even if her friends abandoned her, she at least had someone who was literally always there. she then started to actively seek out nagi and hang out with him which usually involved ambushing him, whether it be at the park, their house, or at school. once maylin entered college, however, she started spending more time with her new college friends than her siblings. her newfound independence kept her from wanting to go back home. maylin didn't realize how bad it was getting until nagi started acting cold to her, so in efforts to make up with him, she proposed they all go on a family trip to the mountains.
- alistair aisling: her younger brother by 15 years. when he was born, she fawned over him a lot and would help take care of him with nagi if she was free from her studies. upon entering college, she came over less and less and therefore had less of an opportunity to bond with him. despite this, she still loves him.
