Michael is a computer engineering student who helps out with his parents' flower shop. He's popular for being a "dreamboy" and there were many times people confessed to him, but he never reciprocated. He's seen as a perfect man and even his flaws are seen as positive. Michael grew up being incredibly loved by his parents. He wasn't spoiled as a child, but he's received a lot of love from his parents by encouraging him in many hobbies and aren't overly strict with him. Since Michael's parents own a flower shop, Michael would help out his parents. He became well known in his neighbourhood for having good manners and being helpful to his parents. He's always been a friendly and outgoing kid with many friends, though many of them didn't stay friends with him.
With how popular Michael is, there was no doubt many people were going to confess to him. However, he's never reciprocated any of their feelings. While he has gone on dates, he never felt any romantic feelings towards his dates. After a date, he'd always let them know that he can't reciprocate, though there were some who were insisting on being lovers. Michael never liked it when people were that insistent after rejecting them, he'd quickly end a conversation when they don't handle rejection well, and he'd stop checking his messages and social media for a while. He'd spend his time watching dramas, reading comics, and playing games.
Michael isn't normally the type to strike a conversation with someone he doesn't meet frequently, but there was someone who caught his eye. Miguel is a student who studies literature and always carries a book with him. Michael has heard of Miguel a few times since they have the same acquaintances, but he never tried to get to know Miguel. One day, after Michael finished his classes, he overheard Adrian and Miguel's conversation. At first, Michael was just minding his business, until he heard Adrian call Miguel a cupid. What piqued Michael's interest more was the fact that Miguel didn't deny it. Michael assumed Adrian meant a matchmaker, but then heard Miguel mention magic.
The conversation stuck in Michael's mind and before he knew it, he became curious about Miguel. During lunch, he'd look for him and think about what he should do with him. This was the first time Michael was this interested in someone, normally people would flock to him, but that's not the case this time. Michael confirmed that Miguel is a real cupid when Miguel shot magic hearts at a pair. This made Michael look for opportunities to strike a conversation with Miguel, but he eventually told him that he knows that he's a real cupid. As expected, Miguel was uncomfortable, but Michael still kept sticking to him and despite knowing that Miguel's a real cupid, he doesn't talk about it much. Instead, he talks about random topics like his life, his classes, a show he started, etc.
While Miguel has told Michael to leave him alone a few times, Michael still kept going after him. Michael wanted to get closer to Miguel, so he continued to bother him. Their acquaintances noticed how often they're together with how clingy Michael is, and they'd even name them "MicMic/MickMick/MikMik". They'd sometimes jokes about them dating, but whenever they brought that up, Michael realized the way he was acting towards Miguel.
Michael never liked it when people were insistent, but he was incredibly insistent getting to know Miguel. When Miguel's walls were going down, Michael felt like he was being rewarded when it happened, and whenever anyone flirted jokingly with Miguel, Michael would feel possessive. This was when Michael realized he developed romantic feelings for Miguel. When Michael realized this, he felt anxious. He was scared of what would happen when he confesses, he was scared of not talking to Miguel anymore. He continued to hang around Miguel no matter how fast his heart was beating.
As he continued to hang out with Miguel, Michael then realized how shy Miguel seems and that was when it clicked in his head. Michael confessed to Miguel and as he waited anxiously for Miguel to reply, Miguel reciprocates, though they didn't immediately become boyfriends. Because Miguel is inexperienced in love, he wanted to take things slow, and Michael respects that. The two of them eventually became official and Michael thought about how wonderful love is.
Michael never talked to Miguel until he found out he's a cupid. He was persistent to get to know Miguel and Miguel could never shoo him away no matter what. Miguel eventually warmed up to Michael and before the two of them knew it, they fell for each other. When Michael confessed to Miguel, Miguel reciprocated but wanted to take things slow, since it was his and Michael's first romantic relationship.
Michael became clingier and Miguel was softer with him. Miguel is usually distant with people, but he's become playful with Michael and would tease him sometimes. Michael noticed that Miguel would smile a lot despite Miguel denying that he's done that much. Michael would flirt with Miguel any time in a normal conversation, which would make Miguel cringe, but he doesn't stop Michael.
